Yes, ther is a light blue & 2 pinks. Ine is a dark pink the other is a coral pink.

Can OSB be used for exterior applications, or is it strictly indoor use? Would it swell, and pull apart like particle board?

How thin of plywood can I use for the exterior walls? It will be treated/painted, but I'm trying to figure out what type to buy. What to stay away from, what will work, what wont...

If I decide to insulate, would the roll out flexible foam work? "Think egg carton foam rolls."

I want to install at least 2 windows, more preferably. Any sudgestions other than craigslist, where to find them?

I'm planning on having 3 nest boxes per 4x8 side of coop, so a total of 6, would this be enough for 14 hens?

How about roost space. Would one long roost down the 8 foot length be enough? Or will I need to add extra?

I should probably add a ramp, sence the coop is raised about 18", right?


Trying to get my head strait and not stress. Gotta make a game plan, and now that DD is finally down for a nap, I can calm down.

And the sucky part is, its nobodies fault. "Guess thats not so sucky." Just one of those days, that just dont go right. Would love to go back to bed for a while, but little girl here wont allow it. She's been up sence 4AM, and shows no sign of getting sleepy yet...

Does she have the sniffles? Benedryl works great on the sniffles but unfortunately...makes them sleepy!

Well the swearing has stopped (for now) as the cement blocks are as leveled as they're going to be. According to my builders "It's close enough for a gov'mint job." Framing has begun.
This is the view from my bedroom deck, as that's where DH has determined it should go. It's next to the patio, right outside the family room. It looks small from an 'aerial' view, but it is 8X12. The enclosed coop will be 4X8. I have realized that the project is, in many respects, out of my hands. I'm REALLY looking forward to it being done!

No. No sniffles. And even if she had them... it wouldnt put her to sleep. lol She's just like me. Benedryl has the oposite effect, and acts like speed. dont know why, but it does.
