Cheryl - I love that long coop! Cool! Does having it raised keep rodents away? So far I don't have them in my new coop, but discovered mice in my garage where I had been keeping the alfalfa bales.
Thanks for all the well wishes. My neck and shoulders are very stiff today, but the rest of me feels fine. Accelerating in the car, getting out of bed, turning my head all hurt, but just sitting by my computer and typing I feel fine ... so long as no one walks in the room causing me to turn and greet them! I must be walking a bit strangely, because DD's harp instructor and a friend I ran onto at the hardware store both noticed something was off before I even said anyhting. My friend loaded stuff in the cart for me at Ace, then an employee loaded the kittly litter and dog foor into my car. Nice being in a small town - people are so helpful.
Welcome to all the new people! I think all the chicks that are showing up inthe feed strores now are boosting the membership. I'm trying not to get more until after I pick pick up the birds I am getting at the Monroe show ..... I'm trying my best to avoid feed stores, because I know I can't resist. I'm looking at the Issaquah Grange chick schedule, trying to decide if I want more. After Monroe show, I should have over 30 birds, but since some will be male, they don't count, do they?
I had someone ask me the other days if roosters lay eggs too! They thought eggs from hens hatch and rooster eggs don't!
