Hey everybody! Just got home from a piano competition and my DD took third for our county!

She did so lousy practicing right before the concert but we prayed and she did awesome at the actual performance.

She was so excited!

I was sweating I was so nervous for her. God is good!

CR- Glad to hear you found a floor for your coop. I am a bad pack rat but it is amazing what you find a use for later.

Has anyone ever seen one of these crates? Is it something that can be broken down and moved easier? Would they just get mangled if taken apart?

X2.... I missed coming here for lotsa days and when I started reading all the old posts and got to where you were heading for the horse pistol, got real worried. This place just ain't the same without you. Couldn't read fast enough to find out how you were. Glad you are home and it was all a great "learning experience" and warning. So relieved for you, your DW, your birds, and ALL of us. Anyone joining this group comes to love and need all the familiar ''faces'' ... I sure do.
So glad you are back. And I know you are taking good care of yourself.

Care givers need extra care, too. Next time sneak your lap top in under your gown:gig

Thanks, but I think I'll just get the one for DD. PM me your address so I can pay. It's hard to find plus sized clothing that is also meant for tall people.... I guess you can be one or the other, but not both!

Well I didn't plan on an indoor campout. So that is why I refused to give up my only other lifeline. My phone but the only BYC # I had was CL's DH and then my phone started running out of battery. But I already had my laptop and phone charger enroute the next day just in case.

Planning is a good thing. see I took all my own meds with. One so they could read them and 2 because I knew they wouldn't have some. Well they say they don't allow you to have your own but then told me they didn't have what I needed. So I just nicely told the nurse thats ok I can deal with it. By the way could you please hand me that little walmart paper bag? She said sure handed it to me and said I have to go now. Well what do ya know in that bag was my meds and

my snoose. That was before they told me I had to stop.

aren't they the cutest? Voltron earned his stay in the hutch, by getting into to many man fights with the other roosters... He tried to take on my cochin roo--who is probably twice his size...
roll.png
and also by being psychotic every time I try to handle him....
I got the hutch off CL, and I think the guy I got it from made it. Both hutches have come from CL. I don't have the time nor the energy to build stuff, I wish I did. That hutch is working great for the pair of Seramas. It would be so safe for a broody too. Perfect for warm weather hen hatchin'!!

Blueducklings~Wait till you see my call DUCKS hatch (if those girls start laying....)

Here is Feb 11th's hatch, the first trial-run of the new incubator.... This weekend's hatch was MUCH more successful! I am totally excited about it! I'll take pics soon.
But for now enjoy the older kids....
