I thought $4 seemed cheap for birds as nice as yours.

No thats not me selling the chicks. I am keeping what I hatch out. I am just getting started good and for now I want to grow out most and see what I have as far as show quality. The lady with the chicks, is breeding all the colors together and I am not up for that at all. I am picky and have my girls segregated with the boy that I want them bred to, so I know for sure who the parents are. Comes from being a show dog breeder I guess..... I am loving these chickens though.

As much as I don't put up alot of my every day life, your not going to belive what happened to me the last two days.
First I had a little work with my neighbor, $25 hr skylight repair on a shake roof. Done 4 hours later, nice 100bucker.
Got home yesterday mama says kitchen sink is leaking.............Garbage disposol lost a gasket and was leaking all the way through.
$150 and bedtime by then glad I made it through it. Then went to go for walk around lake Ty today (we like to do three circles - 5miles) and open the garage, locked or so I thought. NOPE, spring was broke, Called and I have an appointment for 1:00 tomorrow.................yep $215bux

So in all retrowspect, can I help someone out or get some good carma flowing back my way?

This is all true, belive it or not, going to try to keep alittle closer eye on thing around here.

Bummer.

I'm going to make plans to come out there to see you sometime and pick up that Araucana Roo and a couple blue or green egg pullets (and Marans when available). Are Araucana eggs small compared to Ameraucana eggs? Are they Bantam sized? If the eggs are sized okay (don't have to be BIG, but a normal sized egg), then it makes no difference to me if I get Araucanas or Ameraucanas. The Araucanas look cooler.

Same here. Some of us are just getting to that age when our contemporaries are falling apart. That did not come out sounding right, but I can't think of a better way to put it.

Totally understood, Maybe I should get alittle more info if I bump into him at the show.
I like to share the wealth, I'm not so apped to send someone to the same person besides i belive that it doesn't even matter what color as long as they were that breed.
Do you sell hatching eggs, and or chicks for the next four months?
Just askin,' I know that is one of the breeds that the Farm and Feed here in Monroe can't readily get so they would buy them from you, for a reasonalble prise!!!!!!!

Talk to Rory, you really have something there!!!! (360) 794-4663 I'm sure he would add them to his invetory.

Yes, I sell hatching eggs, and yes, I sell chicks, will be until they stop selling well, which is probably around mid to late summer, who knows, maybe fall.

Does Monroe honestly even buy from non-hatcheries? Because I offered to our local feedstore who just does hatchery stuff, and the lady seemed truly interested, but never got back with me after I emailed her the info, prices, etc.

My Araucanas lay anywhere from the same size to larger eggs than the Ameraucanas. The Araucanas are LF birds - They're about the same size as Ameraucanas, but without a tail. They are much more dependable layers than my Ameraucanas too

I just wanted to post some pics of my hens and roos that the eggs will be coming from for the Monroe show. These are gorgeous English line Orpingtons, some of the best lines in the country. Hope you enjoy the pics.
