Hey guys- nursing school is keeping me crazy busy lately. I am able to get on here frequently because I get bored in class (uh-oh), but I can't keep up with this thread. If you need to get ahold of me the best way is email because I'm a closeted PM hoarder.

Anyhow, at monroe I can bring lav silkie cockerels (the best two from last year) good for putting over blacks or splits. Nice dark skin, bearded, but I want to clean the color up more. I finally have girls to go back under dad, so getting rid of the superfluous boys.

Also will have some nice blue pullets, possibly a black. SQ will be $50. some laying some near laying.

Have some PQ pullets. cockerels, and unsexed. HUGE crests, but have some miscolor. Sexed girls start at $25.
Some laying some not.

Will have white hens that are already laying, $25 and up

can bring a white cockerel that got BB at the county fair, he's bearded and not bad. $25

Have blue SG cockerels, brothers of SimplySilkie's Edward that I can bring

Have white SG cockerels- one of which I have shown twice

Have a typey and very tiny cockerel in the color some call 'calico', but I call it a very pretty off color. He's a cute little bugger

have two nice clear black cocks that are extra, they are nice sq and are more expensive

have two very very nice black cocks that have some leakage and that is the only thing that makes them breeder quality or pet quality

have a nice blue cock

have a nice splash cock-very tiny but I prefer a blue cock I'm keeping so he gets to go.

Also have a quad ( one male, shown 2x with RB once, BV once, three females) of runners to go. Male is golden egg bloodline, females are golden egg x holderread. Only bringing if someone interested in purchasing. Relatively friendly for runners, have been handled. Lay big green eggs.

I will have select chicks for sale.. Lav x porcelain $20, whites fathered by my white boy who has been BB 2x (stevenson, chehalis), Reserve Ch Featherleg (Idaho), possibly some blacks or blues from my show pen (pullets have been BB, RB, BV, RV, Ch FL three times). No showgirl chicks.

If you're interested in something email me and let me know or I might not bring it..l. I have a couple shows coming up at which to sell stuff so I'm not bringing a ton this time.

I don't know how many of you live close to sea level (other then chickie) but keep you eyes open. The news they said the tsunami should only be 1 to 3 feet around 2pm your time. Be safe.

Just read about the earthquake. I hope those close to the ocean are safe.

I am looking to buy PQ silkies and Ameracaunas at the show. I cant wait till next sat.

My Araucanas lay anywhere from the same size to larger eggs than the Ameraucanas. The Araucanas are LF birds - They're about the same size as Ameraucanas, but without a tail. They are much more dependable layers than my Ameraucanas too

In that case, I'll buy the Araucanas rather than the Ameraucanas. I don't know where I got the information from, but I thought they had small eggs. I must have been reading something about bantams without realising it. I love the way the Araucanas look.

My two EE's are extremely reliable layers. They each lay 6+ eggs per week since they started laying in January! I have 2 from "My Pet Chicken," and they lay a very pretty blue-green egg, which seem to be getting bluer and lighter in color. (The first week the eggs were nearly identical in color to Partylight candle boxes. Now the boxes look green and dark in comparison.

I want to apologize for my lack of knowledge. One reason that I am going to the chicken show is to see and learn the different breeds. I want to understand what it is people are talking abouit. I am very excited to meet everyone also. We are actually going to stay Saturday night too....is anyone meeting for dinnr or coffee or something after the show? Or just packing and getting out of town?

Please, anyone who is on or near the coast: Stay safe.
