What I need is a doggy diaper. I shampoo the rug, and Miguel pees on it before it's even had a chance to dry. It's frustrating.

they have those for boys... lol I actually made my own, reminds my boys not to pee in the house.

He's old and blind and just not reliable at night anymore. We tried shutting him up in the laundry room, but he'd start barking between two and four am. The laundry room is next to the master bedroom. My husband insisted on me getting up.

I love the sunday brunch at Salty's on Alki.

We had an old and partially blind dog...that was never reliable from day one!!!
Cyote took her one memorial day. Must have come from the right side.

. Then 4 were infertile. The 12 left are possibly viable so I'm leaving them in till tonight. If nobody's bobbing then I'll crack them open and give you the verdict on how your guys did

Good - I see you aren't actually sleeping in that chicken workshop of yours!

I once contested my property tax, and the size of my home. The inspectors came out, noticed my $1700 shed (the cute flimsy one with the walls thinner than the windows), and they added the outbuilding to my property description with some insane value placed on it! The only saw it from across the yard, so did not see it is flimsy.

I am thinking the same thing..maybe 25-30 cornish..so I been looking and really wish someone had a plucker we could pass around...rent it, ya know that would be great, pay for itself...

There is plans on how to make one in Mother Earth News - GRIT'S GUIDE TO BACKYARD CHICKENS 2011 EDITION

Yes! For all who are interested!
I am bringing 20 sedum starts, 20 avens starts, and 20 hardy geranium starts. I also scrounged up 2 tricolor lace-capped hydrangeas and 2 of the deep purple butterfly bushes(my plants had layered) I had to fight to get the butterfly bushes out so I hope they make it.
I know CR had asked about the butterfly bushes for his bees so I might give him first dibs on one. There was another guy that wanted them also but I can't remember who...if your out there, jog my memory and I'll save it for you!

I would love the butterfly and Hydrangeas are one of my favs. I would also like some of the other flowers but can wait since I am close.

Hello to the rest of the soggy northwest. I am on the Olympic Peninsula-me and my six easter eggers, two pekin ducks, two khaki campbell ducks and one khaki campbell drake that I just got today! I am looking high and low for a Maran or any blue egg gene rooster, let me know if you have one that needs his own flock, thanks!
