I am looking for a couple more stew pot types... like dutch ovens but no feet on bottom.
If you find any can you grab them for me? lids a bonus but not vital

final count on eggs...
am = 4 hatch, 2 mid quiters, 1 infertile
oe = both hatched!

AWESOME fertility chickie!

I have what looks like a 2 quart dutch ovens with no feet that we do not use. I want to sell it, maybe we can trade when we get out there.

what brand? and trades are always welcome

Say... how many days away are you from your first hatch of Brabanters? Have you candled yet? How is that going?

Well the ones I have are:
5 growing
6 clears

I set them on the 5th lockdown on the 22nd and hatch on the 26th

And I have four growing and three clears. If all goes well, I'll have nine Brabanters. I candled today, and took out the clear ones. I opened them. Two were completely scrambled. One had an intact yolk, but hadn't even started.

Hello Washingtonians! Greetings from the Palm Springs of Washington, Yakima. I have French Black Copper Marans, plans for silkie and showgirl eggs next month, Salmon Favorolles and FBCM eggs this month and my girls brought home Blue cochin bantams and Americaunas today. We're chicken crazy!

sounds like 2 PO scrambles and 1 infertile
The 6 I pulled 2 were scrambled and 4 were infertile
I normally wait to day 14 but the nice clear white shells made it easy to see the clears.

We had a rough time but you would never know it now.. Children are wonderful I wish I could have had more.. but hay thats why Im a bus driver now. LOL

Please keep reminding me how wonderful children are and how thank ful I should be. My almost 18 you DS has a real attitude problem and really needs to move out while he still knows everything. DH is of no help. He does not want to get drawn into our "problems". It is heart breaking and I am presently crying my eyes out: 1. Because of DS's attitude and his disrespect and how mean and rude he can be. and 2. How inconsiderate and how selfish and how thoughtless DH can be. I am so upset.

I am sorry...enough about me and my trivial issues...these are nto even problems. There are real people with real problems out there. Sorry, I just needed a minute to whine and feel sorry for myself.

That's just adolescence. They do outgrow it. I remember a cartoon once about how hard it is to let go of our children, but that nature has a way of preparing us by making them obnoxious.
