I am wondering if some how the eggs are upside down. It would seem that the chick is trying to pip on the other end. I could be completely wrong too.

Hey JB, hows the night shift treatin' ya!

I've been cat napping on the couch so that I can keep an "i" on that chick.
The large end of the egg is up and has been up, which is where the air cell has been the entire time. Then the chick pips out 1/2 way down instead of up by the air cell. Go figure! Didn't even know that could happen. Rack it up to experience learned!
As of right now it is still not making much progress with zipping.

I can see its beak which is still moving so it's alive and breathing. So I'll wait some more.

Hello everyone!

Getting the kids off to school then have to finish packing up the birds and stuff in the car. Only bringing 3-4 birds to the show, most of them I wanted to bring had a broken feathers once you spread out the wings or tails. One of my cockerels got into a fight and lost half his beard also, so leaving them home for the next one.

That's only six eggs. If only half hatch, as is common with shipped eggs, you'd be lucky to get a pair. It would be useless to split your only pair.

Six egg auctions are annoying. My luck, you hatch 3 and they are all roos!
