I have a much easier way than changing the light bulb and you can have a very fine adjustment to get it right where you want it. I can send you a drawing and parts list. All parts are available at Walmart or any hardware store. Total cost is probably les than $20.

Can you share this with me too Please

would this be a good first time completely dummy proof that "my mom can use it"?

i am anticipating being able to hatch and sell chicks locally and i can always "rent out" the space for a fee.

1202A Classic Sportsman

after last springs failed attempt to natural hatch (took over 28 days and only 5/24 hatched under 2 different broodies, crappy weather) i want guarenteed automatic dummyproof with potential capacity. i understand that these resell used very fast (cannot find any used. did meet eagleflyer the other day and he explained how his worked, which are now owned by the monroe feed store.... you guys are right that store is Legendary. tons and tons of varieties. i bought a barnvelder chick there, among 16 others......)

OK at the urging of several of you I am taking flight. I am reserving a vendor space (the last one) at Stevenson. We will also be taking our trailer so DW will have a comfort zone. That way we can take the dog and bird.

Zgoatlady I need some of your goodies to take if you like.

OK for anyone who has never been to the Stevenson show-------------------------------

Last year was my DD and I's first time. That is when first met Jbear! We were forever addicted!!

Beautiful location! If it is nice out you can walk around by the water. A short drive away is the Bonneville Hatchery! FUN FUN FUN!!!

The donation lunch is very nice. Soda/water, chips, and I think burgers & dogs.

The chick/duckling auction is CRAZY!!!! Last year there were lots to choose from! I imagine even more this year!

The raffle was awesome! Lots and Lots of different stuff! Close to 200 items I think.

Does anyone know if there is a potluck dinner on Saturday night again?

I was unprepared last year and had to make a quick run!

I didn't even have my ducks yet and we went anyways and had an incredible time!!!

If it is nice out maybe we can set up one of those canopy things outside and make a little BYC meet-up place out on the grass!

youll love this thread and your chickens..

T-Hi- food ran low at the potluck fall dinner, so I believe it is a pre-paid banquet this time.

ETA: Also, this time the show is pushing for higher value adult birds to be donated by exhibitors, although they will hopefully still have ducklings and possibly goslings from Holderreads. Because of the APA semiannual and silkie national, this is a much higher profile show and security will be much higher.

When is the Stevenson Show? I thought I read April 16-17. I won't be able to go. DD will be playing her harp at a fundraiser for the local Sr. Center.

I've got to haul my tent-trailer out. If it is not infested with mice, I'll have a hitch put on my car so I can use it in the future. Othewise, who knows. Mice, yuck.
