I don't really like the scratchy sheets that I find in most motels (in my price range) -- so I take my sleeping bag along and sleep in that, on top of the bed --- I fold my own king size sheet inside the bag if I'm alone, I take two and zip two bags together, if DH is along

keeps me away from residual smoke in the bedclothes too -- it may be a "nonsmoking" room but ...

many motel housekeepers (have seen guys as well as gals so I don't call them "maids" ) -- smoke on the job even in nonsmoking rooms
or their clothes have cigarette/cigar smoke in them .. they don't notice it

many laundry personnel smoke also ...

I'd rather not cough all night

now -- to get the home coop and run and tractor set up, so we CAN do a little bit of traveling, and still keep the chickens home safe

Chicky, I texted you to tell you sorry I forgot to pay you. You had me in such a rush I even forgot to ask you if I could buy some OE eggs. Not sure if I have anything to trade. I have the Blue Ameraucana roos but one doesn't have that big of a beard so probably has a gene for beardless I've been told. But I'll let them mature. The other one is really nice. The eggs in the bator from the other line only have 8 possibly to go into lockdown. Are those eggs harder to candle than BCM? I had one explode! Nasty. There was a partially developed chick in it. Had to clean out the entire bator. Smelled like really rotton fish. Had to tie a shirt around my mouth and nose to clean it up. I was gagging. Candled them once before and saw no signs of a problem. But now it looks like I can't see an air cell in the rest, just total blackness so nervous about them. I can tell the clear ones easily. Wondering how fresh these were when I got them.

Just let me know if you have any ideas for a trade. Otherwise I can paypal you or send a check in the mail.
