I wish mornings came a little later ....

of course, poor RFF must be thinking they don't come soon enough and has her hand on the phone, one eye on the clock all night long. Hopefully all is well.

Maybe I'll send you a bottle - something that fits in one of those flat fee boxes!

Cool

Well, DH is being an applesauce about me coming to Stevenson. Keeps telling me how far away it is and what a long drive it is. His idea of a day out is going to Wal*Mart or Home Depot and wandering around. He is not a real big people person and does not always socialize real well. I may have to pull the "I am gonna" go card. I already told him that I did not want him to go because he would just want to leave or go do something else or wander and do something else (I think he has adult ADD). He would not necessarily say, "let's leave", but he would hover and cling and heavy sighs (yes he is a 53 yo child). This would drive me nuts and I would nto be able to relax. I want to sit in a chair at the show and talk with my fellow BYC'ers or just listen and gleen information. I want to go, to the show, to learn. And to also keep some good company. And look at the birds.

Did you hear that Steven's pass ( I know you don't go that way) is closed? 20' deep snow avalanche on top and 2 miles out of Leavenworth there is a mudslide. Mide be quiet in Leavnworth this weekend.

yeah there are actually 2 canyons within a mile of my home flooding and messing up the highway.....

guess its been dumping buckets. dad says our hillside seems stable still (it has a history of ending up in our garage....

read about stevens pass yesterday morning over 3 avalanches. luckily no one was hurt. i remember last year at this time there was one right before i drove by it..... going from 60mph to 10 on a corner sucked. (one lane was still open, but it was so new there was only one car stopped to alert people.... and it was on the other side.... i kept driving to go skiing and when i got reception i made sure it was reported in case it wasn't. it was cleaned up by the time i was done skiing for the day.)

Hello again fellow Washingtonians! Just checking in again after a long absence from BYC.

I've got an Araucana hatch due on the 6th, and I'm picking up a dozen Marans chicks from Lisa & Gary Cree (also Washingtonians) later this month. Anyone else got chicks on the way?

Please safe in this cruddy weather, everyone!

I've got two whole incubators full of chicks, one mainly Black Copper Marans due on the 11th, another due the 19th, mostly of Ameraucana eggs.

No Araucana eggs yet - Tried a batch and had 0% fertility, hopefully this second one here will give me a few. If not, I know my fertility is good now, I just need to save a few for myself and not sell every single one.
