Heaven's sake.....what does DH do? DH and I were just talking about Japan.

My DD is the lead Service Tech for the worlds largest concrete pumps. They are going to use the pumps to place water for now, but the pumps will no doubt end up using them to bury the reactors in concrete.

We looked at those at Cabelas and on line there is a few videos of a guy using one, and wet feathers FLY all over YOU and the yard!
I want DH to build the "drop it in the tub" kind & I can stand back & spray a hose....They had a big horizontal plucker at the Duck Club in California DH really liked, he is working on looking into that type too, but I have not seen one anywhere & cannot imagine a horizontal tub plucker...?
He said it was angled too, not level...weird.

The tub plucker is what I am interested in also. The drill one just looks like more trouble than it's worth.

Things like this happen at my house too.

Okay I now feel extremely blessed with my DH. He knows to ask me where I want things to go, and he normally does exactly what I want. I think he knows that I will complain for years if he ignores me.

But he did build a very unique chicken coop.

The nesting boxes pull out like drawers.

I am still very grateful that he built me a coop, and I don't complain about it very often.

You are more than welcome to bring him by, so he can see it himself, or take pictures.

I guess I should have read down a bit further too. LOL. At least you and I are on the "same page".

I think she meant she only "finished" one. The other 3 are in around the house, coops and stable and range from 3/4 empty to just a mouthfull.

LOL..

wow. Sorry you only get two days before he is off again. How long will he be in Japan?

Well, 3 feed store babies llived through the day and DD did not "mame" them too much (not at all - she was bored in 10 minutes). Last night we stuck them under Momma Hannah's back feathers. They cuddled right in. They are approx 2 days older than her babies. So this morning I took out some water and feed for her and everyone is looking good. Momma made food sounds when I put the chick feed in their and a couple of the yellow babies popped their heads out to eat, then ran back in when done. So all looks good. Glad she can't count. She has 2 BR babies (the eggs she hatched) and 3 sexlinks that I got from the feedstore. Glad she is color blind too....

Ha Ha very funny! I am kind of a light weight but not too bad. It's probably because I was thirsty and drank it on an empty stomach.

CR, My DH ventured out of the house last weekend to hang the bell. It looks and sounds awesome. I'll get pictures as soon as I 'fix' it. The handle has a rod through it which is mounted through 2 2x6. Anyway, very sturdy but it hides the horseshoe handle. I want to suspend it from a chain around the rod to drop it about 4 in. Only problem is finding someone to hold the bell up! I didn't make any suggestions because I thought he was just going to screw a big hook under one 2x6 but it's a lot more secure this way. If I say anything he'll say "well there you go thinking again"! But many thanks to DH for doing that. I didn't even ask. I need to get some chain too.

Wow, How safe will it be for him over there?
