About the Venue:
Each September, the Puyallup Fairgrounds is home to the Puyallup Fair, which is the state of Washingtons largest single attraction and routinely in the top 10 attended fairs in the country. Located 35 miles south of Seattle and 10 miles east of Tacoma, the fairgrounds are nestled in the shadow of Mount Rainier.
In June, the MOTHER EARTH NEWS FAIR will come to the state-of-the-art Americraft ShowPlex facility with additional demonstrations held in the nearby outdoor, arena and barn complexes located within the fairgrounds.

Parking, Box Office and Entrance
Guest may park for FREE at the Blue Gate Parking Lot and enter at the Blue Gate where the Box Office for the Fair is located.
The Blue Gate is located off of Meridian Street South just off Highway 512 exit.
Event Hours
Arrive early, as lines form quickly. For your convenience the Box Office opens at 8:30 a.m.
Saturday event hours: 9 a.m. - 7 p.m.
Sunday event hours: 9 a.m. - 6 p.m.
Sunday Morning Pancake Breakfast Fundraiser: 9 a.m. 11 a.m.

Lost and Found
Lost and found articles are turned in to the Customer Care & Information Desk located at the Blue Gate entrance.

Both lost children and parents should report to the Care & Information Desk located at the Blue Gate entrance.
Babies and Infants
Facilities for both men and women to change their children's diapers are available in the restrooms at the Blue Gates.
Smoking and Other Policies
In compliance with Washington Initiative 901, smoking is not allowed in public buildings, or within 25 feet of building entrances, exits, ventilation intakes and windows that open. To make your visit to the Puyallup Fair an enjoyable experience, we appreciate your compliance with our policies noted below.

The Puyallup Fair strives to comply with Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) regulations. Questions or requests for accommodations available to persons with disabilities should be directed to the ADA coordinator at the Fair, (253) 841-5073.
Cash Machines
Several cash machines provided by Columbia Bank are mobility aid-accessible. They are located inside the Blue Gates and other handy spots. See the map in the MOTHER EARTH NEWS FAIR program guide provided onsite for locations.
Staying Hydrated
Reduce your footprint and keep hydrated by bringing your own water bottle or canteen. Guests can find accessible drinking fountains throughout the Puyallup Fairgrounds.
First Aid
A first aid facility is located between the Gold and Blue Gates. It is staffed by American Medical Response.
Service Animals
Service animals are welcome throughout the Fairgrounds. No other animals are permitted on the Fairgrounds other than exhibit animals.
Carpooling
Mother Earth News encourages carpooling. Click on Pangreen to share a ride to the fair.
Directions to Puyallup Fair
From Olympia and the South
1. Take Interstate 5 North to Highway 512, Exit 127.
2. Follow Highway 512 east for 8 miles to the exit marked Ninth St. SW / 94th Ave. E.
3. Turn left over the freeway (onto Ninth St. SW) and go down the hill for 1.4 miles.
4. Fair Parking Lots are on the right side of Fairview Drive SW.
From North or South Bound I-5 in Tacoma
1. Take Exit 135 to Puyallup.
2. Follow the signs to Puyallup.
3. At the first stop light you can turn right to Pioneer Way East; or continue to the left on River
Road.
Pioneer Way route: Travel 5.2 miles to 72nd St. E.
1. Turn left to stay on Pioneer Way E.
2. Continue 1.9 miles to Puyallup's Fifth St. SW.
3. Turn right to Fifth St. SW and follow the signs to Fair Parking Lots.
River Road route: Travel 4.2 miles to Puyallup's 18th St. NW.
