What is wrong with you people today???
I unplugged it when it was EMPTY.
And the sneaky eggs plugged it back in and crawled inside & locked the door!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Shemp...the littlest duck is eating her own feathers.
Why would she do that? Should I pop a cone round her neck? She is not looking too pretty. She is 1 week old and is balding already. She has water & plenty of food, treats and worms.
Maybe I should give her a slug.

So, blue Ducklings, I have my duck eggs at 99.5 & at 55% relative, for 25 days, then lower temp to 99 degrees and raise humidity to 80% relative.
Correcto ?

I have someone sending Cayuga eggs in a few weeks too..gonna be just duckie around here....

99.25 to 99.75*F for day 0 to 24
55% humidity for unwashed eggs,
sickbyc.gif

65% for washed eggs
then on day 25, 98.5*F and 75% humidity.

day 27 you can drop it even more to 98%.

I don't have the ability to do that without risking a big mess up, so I leave mine at 98.5% for lockdown.

Cayugas? Are they shiny?

tugging and ripping them out ???
wow, maybe she does need a cone...cut the end off a snow cone cup.

She looks like she is preening herself, but she is not looking fluffy anymore. Did not have too much to start with on the get go. Turkey like.
