By the time we got home tonight my twins were hypothermic! She jumped in the shower & opened the diaper box while scarfing down some quick dinner then to bed! She was so bummed out that she didn't have time to put it on Daffy...... so..... Grandma (me) got permission to put it on Daffy tomorrow & get pictures!!!
Now Grandma has to go shopping to get some diaper liners!!
I love being a Grandma to a duck!! It gives me practice for (a million years from now) when my girls have human children!!

Does keeping the egg in the bator and just reaching in thru the top window to candle them count? I don't actually take the eggs out. Maybe it's just pathetic justification in my head so I can look at them!
Lets see, technically, you are suppose to cool your eggs for 5 mins everyday if you have a still air incubator. Do you have a still air incubator? So technically, while they are cooling, you can candle them if you don't jerk it.
But I would return it to the bator & spray them after, with warm water.
Trouble is...you don't know what your bator will do if you keep opening it. You need one of those ADD / ADHD incubators that have those holes for your hand to sneak in the bator...like the one I have

There is Mo, Larry, Curly, Shemp, & Joe curly...
and today we also have Uno, Dos, Tress & Quatro.
They are Black cream & Blue cream. I am thinking that the blue creams are actually lavenders.
But I am not sure until I raise one till adulthood, and I have NO ROOM.
I'm not keeping them. No no no
No room in by brooder. Got to make room for my 10 SQ Holderreads coming around easter.
I shall have to come up with 10 more names. Maybe Christian names since they are "EASTER" duckies.
