Oh dear- wandering peafowl are prone to make the unsuspecting believe in dragons or the more frightening sort of Elves. They also apparently do better on their own than one would expect; the coupler of dozen I ran into once in Olympia, on a beautiful full-moon evening in May, were supposedly descendants of a pair that got let loose when their owner died.

It was one of the most aesthetically impressive and yet utterly terrifing things I ever saw, especially when the whole flock jumped over the animal control guy's nets onto the roof of a three story apartment building he thought would block them in.

There are quite a few peafowl around here (Machias, too). I had a pair leave (I suspect they were actually taken) a year ago and my guy in the picture went up the road when I had company on an extended summer visit. Julius did not care for their dogs. He flew up the road and has been visiting a nurse and her grandson. I suppose I could go get him. The last attempt wasn't successful and they are all content with each other for now. Maybe when it warms up, I'll go check on him. I refuse to clip his wings or pen him. He'll be four this spring. He knows where "home" is and he decided "home" didn't include the visiting dogs. (It didn't help that his girl went to sit on a nest and failed to return.)

So, I haven't followed Pierce County politics for about 20 years. Is this representative Bush related to the Texas Bush family? (There are some of those Bushs in WA.)

Spanaway was where my granddad had a ranch. There is no way, if he were still living, that such an ordinance would pass. What is the current status?

I have 13 eggs that need to go into a bator ASAP! Anyone have an extra bator I can borrow? Or does anyone want to try to hatch out some BLACK SHINY runner ducks?

I thought my DD was collecting eggs all week, and she thought that I was...... So today she is cleaning out the house...... bing bong bang... we have 13 eggs for hatching! I would not eat them since they were in there since Tuesday!

For those of you in King County what you see happening in Peirce county it is only a matter of time before those PC FREAKS try to take away your right to live like your Grand Parents and their Grand Parents before them lived.
These people need to go find an Island and stay there.

I guarantee you this.............. People had better go back to the land.
Learn how to grow your own food.
Learn how to keep animals you can eat or if your property to small hook up with those people whose properties are big enough to work out a deal.

The crap they call food they sell you at the store is going to go up and up as the oil thieves triple their profits.

Your costs just to drive to work.
Your costs to buy goods.
Your costs to survive all these new fees[taxes] are going to all go up as your income goes down.

Don't want to be negative here.
Just trying to get people to understand the more you let the FEW take away the rights from the masses the more control the FEW will have over you.

Participate by telling them enough is enough.
Tell them to read the CONSTITUTION which if they did they'd find they have NO RIGHT to tell you what to do on your property.
If we all do nothing before you know it you'll be just a sheep in human body.
