Sheesh ladies...I am not THAT skinny, heck....I had to go and buy the next size up in jeans....I like eating too much and I have been sitting around doing nothing too long. Heck, today I am using the wheelbarow, shoveling, and trying to use a hammer to pound in re-bar to fix part of my raised beds. My arms are killing me. I am such a wuss.

I have the opposite problem! I just bought myself new clothes 4 months ago. And NONE of it fits me anymore. I can't run, or my pants fall off! Cant work the horses without my bra strap falling off, or worse... Eh hem... Me falling out!

My family calls me the incredible shrinking women. I just thinks its obnoxious, I cant afford new clothes every couple months! I have more important things to spend my money on. Like horse and chicken stuff! Not to mention my ever growing 2 year old. lol

This may yet be a plan; I had nightmares last night about handling fertile eggs and breaking them all when my hands went wonky, after a day that every time I tried to put a screw-on top on a jar or bottle I ended up spinning it across the kitchen, or in one case, a bleach-bottle top out the laundry room door and down the back steps. There's an incubator up the hill, but the chance of anyone from that house doing me a favor is vanishingly small.

I was futzing about looking for a good picture of Zathras, and you found the precise thing I should be looking for. Again with the efficiency!

Deidre's efficiency aside: Zathras on the eight-inch cedar cap board he's demolishing on my front porch, the poo-head. Pic by my husband. Like many only cats, Zathras holds his humans and dogs under a reign of terror; he ran into one of my cousin's roosters and got taught, though, and will stick to rabbits, thank you very much.

Is this just because you are not eating? Stress? working too much? or sickness?

It's the ADHD. I get hyperfocused sometimes.

I may have some experience of that phenomenon. Really, thanks though. I'll poke around at some point when I'm not in coop-building mode (I'm eating lunch and was trying to keep both of the blue-eyed residnets focused on their time-points, which: ARGH.

I'd have to figure out a trade (some of Hulda's lilacs? Part of the Uncle Fred Collection?), or put the extra cockerals on CL and thus finance more of your chicken empire?

He knows how to do the stink eye.

He could teach lessons. It's all front, though, he's never so much as scratched anyone after the first day he was here and gave quick lessons in personal space to both dogs.

I hope i'm not getting ahead of things, but I've emailed and asked if eggs can be picked up rather than shipped. I have a sister in Eugene who could bring them up if I ask nicely.
