Is it paid, or like an externship where you get school credits ???

heh. it could be a normal summer job doing research stuff but I can have it qualify for my internship credits i need to graduate.

So I have to PAY for 3 SUMMER CLASS CREDITS plus paper work.

this is a paid job... but for the first month i will not be making anything because it would go towards tuition...

Summer credits cost $450 Each..... -sigh- and 3 credits is not enough to be consided part time to qualify for financial aid....

A state vehicle will be used so i do not have to use mine for traveling to the research sites. I will be going as far north as Omak and Tonasket then as south as Quincy....

WSU must feel so good for itself. Require that a student has to get a summer job then take their summer $$ that would normally be saved for fall tuition.... They have the perfect Catch 22 going on....

I'm getting a wether to eat blackberries; my great grandmother planted them here when the Extension Service was pushing Himalays as "an easy and fruitful family garden plant" and there are burls the size of Volkswagons now.

A few of my blackberries (at the approximate site of Great-Grandma Louise's vegetable garden, near the moss-covered railroad logging cabin which is where my parents were living when I was born):

Okay, I guess I need to ask....what categories do you look under to find all these things? I am not sure what to look under.

I don't search each category individually I search all of the "for sale" items for key words... such as chickens, crates, kennels, etc etc

Yup~ That is what I have here...right through the middle of the property..and then last fall noticed little tiny starts popping up on the side of the hill..it is growing faster than I can prune it out.
DH sprayed several times, so now we have the giant dead hard canes that are so hard to cut, and stay there to look at forever...

I thought Jbear was coming your way soon ?

Stumpfarmer: My brother has a "brush hog" that is supposed to tear up even 3" saplings...but Dad says it is a handful to run..and then you have to hope that all the little pieces don't root...that is where goats would come in super handy, eating down the tender shoots springing up all over.
I have to fence before I get goats, and I have to clear a path in order to fence

Don't feel too bad CL I was there and am still not sure there were any birds there.

I was told that this show had been almost dead like only 400 birds. Thier new goal is are ya ready for this 3000. I was told by Sherr that there were 1000 at this show.

The picture conceals the 40 foot slope which is evidence of my Dad's idea of efficiency: he dug our well with a bulldozer, and sold the sand from the hole. The pipes at the bottom are 8 inch irrigation main-line. So a brush hog would be more than a handful, there. If it were the olden days, I'd just set a good fire at the bottom of the hill and put it off when it got to the top, but I'm in a permanent open-burning ban zone, and have many close and nosy neighbors.

Suburbia is hard to deal with.
