Well since it was so nasty outside today I decided to take a couple pics of Roody my OEGB Roo that CL keeps trying to say is so good looking.

And can anybody tell me what this is. She is about the size of my RIR B.

And of course I couldn't leave out the 2 of 3 BBR OEGB and 1of 3 RIR B.

The other OEGB and 2 RIR are broody and all trying to share one nest box.

That would be fun!

hehehe! Especially if you go in during the middle of the night all these little toes light up!

Hey Rustler,

Your chicken there looks kinda like a Sicilian Buttercup. Very cool, I have a 4 week old running loose in the house right now. She just faced off with the bird eating cat a minute ago. Brave one she is.

Today was just so nice, cant belive it got so hot. Well I can still move with all the work I did in the yard.
Had a lady stop by to look at the goats have a few that need to go. She comes every spring and was in shock that we didnt have any kids right now. So I hope she'll come back in the next week and get 2-4 goats from us. Have to down size just to much feed going out.
DS and wife stoped by, I was glad to see him after the scare he gave us yesterday. But he looks good and feels good today. Did say when he was at the hospital that they found blood in his urine again. He's passing stones again. This guy just cant get a break I tell ya. His wife has to go in this week and get blood taken something about checking to see how her body does with heat?
I hope eveyone has a great day tomorrow. I also hope no rain.... I know I heard the weather report rain.

CL has good taste in roosters: he's gorgeous.

And if you ever need to find a home for your unknown speckeled hen, she's just my type!

I love pickled Herring too and I am Mexican!

Its a nice day here at Lake Tapps!

I need some chickens or ducks on the lawn to make it perfect...lazy me...don't wanna build a coop.

I think we need another secret chicken club meeting - we can have a potluck picnic, or have it here, and I will bring the pickled herring

Wow! How on earth do you ladies (and gents) keep up with all the posts!? LOL I am still working on getting there. Thank you for all the warm welcomes and suggestions. I may be a little late... but I've read about natural dyes but have never done it. Try dandilions (supposed to be magenta, unsure which plant parts), you could probably google it and see what you can find for dyes, I know there is a lot out there. Found out today that Lowe's sells scrap wood back by the cutting machine (ask first) but they sell it for .25 a piece for those finding little bits here and there for projects...
Happy Easter!
