my chicks were more "running from the rain" -- I had just refilled their feeder in the run ... when another monsoon roared in

somehow I don't think I am going to be moving any troughs today --- it's pretty gray and gloomy to the southwest, which is where our storms come from (they hit CL first, then come around the south side of the Olympics and blitz up the Nisqually River valley over us; unless the range of hills just south of us, between here and Chehalis/Centralia, wring the water out first)
