That's a BIG run! Mine are in the coop and covered run today (about 350SF) because it is monsooning, and if I let them out, they would likely blow away! They are mad after spending a beautiful weekend out and several somewhat wet but not too windy days.

my chicks are mad too -- they decided they did NOT like the way the tarp over half their run, was flapping in the breeze; it isn't monsooning at the moment, in fact there are flashes of sun, but it's blowing about 15 knots out there -- so they clustered up into the coop

new run will be about 90 sq ft --- better than the current 32 ! --- I went back to the garage sale, got the rest of the 1-1/4 PVC pipes he had, will use some to make a lattice type trellis to hold the wire roof on the run, should be more aesthetic and also sturdier -- and a whole lot cheaper than wood ! (he was asking $1 each for 10-foot lengths of the PVC) -- plus I will then be able to make a bigger (yet still lightweight) tractor for the mini-dinosaurs

try lying down on a cot next to the run, have them peck at the wire towards you, definitely dinosaur descendants ...

My eco 20 resides in my full walk in closet. Its on the shady side of my house, so stays a consistant temp. If you have a room that holds temp better I would go ahead and quikly, but carefully move it. It sounds like your main issue is the room its in. When is your next candleing day? Or the next day you will add water? If its a couple days or more away, Im not sure that I personally would wait that long.

Keep in mind that I only have 1 actual hatch notched into my belt, and 1/3 way through the second. So I am just going off my limited experience.

Ok, yea I think your right! jeez I thought I read enough, ok, I filled the first trough with water like the direction said, I started the incubator on Saturday and I'm not supposed to candle till the 10th of the month!! I was under the impression that it wouldn't need more water till then and you had to make sure that trough was full again till you candled on the 18th day? Jeez, now I don't know if I will have anything!! I printed off the directions CL gave to me and I'm trying to follow it to the letter! I've been so afraid of the temp fluctuation that I haven't even dared open it?? eeekkkk!

Lots and lots of blood work.
th.gif
I was so full of pin holes, youd think they mistook me for a needle pillow... Is it a CT scan where they put you through the big thumping tube and inject you with slightly radioactive die? Or is that an MRI? I cant remember, witch one its called, but I was in it for about 4 hours, nicely doped up to keep me relaxed. They also did a saliva swab, though I am not sure what for. They can not explain the pain that I get with the slightest sip of alchohol, and the lump on my neck they believe is scar tissue.
hu.gif
Dont know what would cause scar tissue there but... I will need more tests in about 6 months as a follow up, but what a relief it is for now.
