the Washington Spring Show

- June 4th 2011-

At the Grays Harbor County Fairgrounds in Elma, WA

We are reactivating this show after a 1 year absence. This is the oldest show (non fair show) in the Northwest. It was started in Tacoma in the mid- 1930’s by the Northwest Bantam Club. And moved to Oregon when the Club moved during the War, returned to Washington in 1963.

The Rules are as follows:
1. Coop-In on Saturday morning 7-9 AM – Watch your own and your neighbor’s entries to protect them.
2. Juniors must have a separate bird for Fitting & Showmanship
3. No “Picture Framing” in the cages
4. Have Fun!

Lunch is Pot Luck, so bring your favorite dish (contact Sheryl Butler, see below)

Anything not addressed here will be addressed by Show Committee as needed…

Entries are $3.00 per bird…$5.00 per Trio…NO Exhibitor Fee

Since Catalogs are spendy, we ask that you simply make your Entry on any Blank sheet of paper, Be sure to state the Class, Breed, Variety, Sex and Age of your Birds! Enclose this with a check for Entries and any Specials that you wish to donate. mail to Larry Urban by May 25th. Late Entries will be accepted if room is available.

The first couple of times I had to go run to the bathroom so I wouldn't wet myself

He lays back in his recliner and 30 seconds later you can't hear the TV over his snores. And he likes taking his half of the bed out of the middle so he gets tickled on the ribs until he rolls over onto his side and quits snoring.


I don't want more rain yet. We still have large puddles from the last storm, even though it's trying to drain but the pond is really full.
