Hi guys!!!

Just a really quick note.......

I am going to be a bad BYCer for awhile. I won't be on here much if at all....

My DD's & I are moving out this upcoming weekend. It has been a bad few days for us. Anyone who is in my area who has nothing else to do..... give me a call!!!!

Sunday is going to be the "big" move day. That is when my sisters are available.

Hoping to get the duck house moved..... not sure how yet. Luckily we are only moving a few minutes away so it won't need to be hauled very far!!

SSSSooooooo...... If anyone needs/want to contact me.....

I have unlimited texting on my cell phone and that is the best/cheapest way for me to communicate. CL-Jbear-CR-Blueducklings-Justbugged all have my number.

Wish us luck!!! I will try to get on here whenever I can cuz there is free internet at the library! The separation from BYC is gonna be harder than moving!!!

Love y'all and miss you already!!!!

After about 2 weeks of summer break all of them will be bored & driving you crazy to entertain them.....

Especially if this nasty rainy weather keeps up!!!!!!!!!
Rain once or twice a week is great to keep the rain barrels full & water the garden..but daily is too much!!!

I am going to town, later guys!

I always make sure to have a list of things that need to be cleaned around the house or in the yard. That way, if they come to me bored, I offer them an alternative to their boredom. They usually decide real quick that they weren't bored after all!

I was a mean, mean Mom when my kids were little, and fined them a quarter any time they said "I'm bored" or equivalent phrase: they soon found things to do.

My husband has retired bedward. He had a bad incission pain night last night, plus the Fort was firing the big mortars and the dogs kept trying to crawl in his lap: 55 pounds of Griz and 80 pounds of Ruby. I was going to lie down a bit myself, get past the point where my morning meds are fighting it out for supremacy before I went out to tend to physical reality. Even the chickens are in tune with our odd schedule: Ian crows around 9:30 every morning.

I'm going to regret leaving 150 calories of breakfast unconsumed, but this morning is not a good one.

T HI I know ya wont see this for a while if at all. But heres wishing ya the best on yer move. I wish I was closer or at least had the gas to get up there I could move the duck house and ??

Maybe there are other BYCers that are close and have some resources to help ya. Come on anybody close to T have a way to move that duck shed. I can't see it being that tough to do just need a trailer or flat bed truck. She told me it is about 8-9'l x 5'w x5' h.

Monroe Farm and Feed says they have BLRWs, but those are chicks.

T Hi -- I do have an Isuzu Trooper but its transmission has been making funny noises, not sure if I could trust it to drive an hour your way and back -- normally I stay within five miles of home, just in case

however, also I have three VariKennels, to help transport foul fowl -- LOL -- the only black shiny thing that's been in them is DS's dog and I scrubbed the thing out afterwards .... ... and they fit ok in the Toyota Yaris

my utility trailer is too small for the buildings, it's not quite 4x8 ... also hasn't been over the road in a couple years, probably needs considerable TLC before trying any such

still have the Chronic Fatigue, but could come be another pair of hands if others can't make it

Dang, Wish I'd known you were coming this way - I would have met you for coffee! I'm between exit 31 and 32 (well at least as far as the roads go as I am 3 mi E of exit 31, but the street does not connect to exit 34.)

Chicks are cute!

And you know I mentioned that to Wa4H too!! I' sorry I thought about as I drove through both time tho if that counts!!!

okay, i hope this is okay to post here.

My best friend lives in Bremerton. She is supposed to be getting married in October, and hasn't even started planning her wedding! I'm stuck down here in Southern California, so I can't give her the kick in the bottom she needs to get a move on. I think she doesn't know where to start, so I'm going to help her with that! I'm putting together a notebook with ideas- venues, caterers, cakes, photographers, etc. But all I have is a computer and a phone, so I figured I'd ask people that are actually familiar with the area for their recommendations.

She wants a Van Helsing style masquerade ball wedding. Neither her or the groom are religious, so they do not want a church wedding. I don't know what their budget is, but considering family and friends will all have to drive/fly up there for the wedding, I don't foresee there being a lot of extra cash.

So if you have any suggestions for me, please feel free to PM me! I want to help her have the wedding of her dreams.

Sudgest she look into parks as possible locations. We have some very nice parks here in Kitsap County! When my DH and I got married 4 years ago, it cost us a total of $600. Thats the license, pastoral services, outfits, decorations, food, ect... Illahee "sp?" State park is nice, Lofal state park is also nice, and has all sorts of cool covered areas that would fit the theme. If I think of anything else I will PM you. Im just 35 miles north of Bremerton so I can consider myself a local I guess.
