I was going to show you a photo of one of my cows who thinks C-17s are going to bring her hay from the sky, but Photobucket is not cooperating.

Yeah, right before the Korean Presbyterian Church. I was going to say "Cunninghams old place" but there are few people under (NTHS Class of 1970) who remember the Cunningham house. They had some apparently spiffy chicken tractors there, but they seem to have sold most of them.

That's Dora, her calf Rosadora, and the Herford X in the background is Jumbo, who's been sold to be somebody's Junior Livestock Show steer. I'm not sure which AngusX calf it is right off the bat. I couldn't figure out, last spring, why the cattle would suddenly set up their "hay truck" call until I was outside one morning when the C17 flew over and they were all staring up at the sky like it was a bovine cargo cult.

This is our son's 25th birthday; we went to the Oyster House and he and his young lady announced their engagement.

I am happy for them, but wish they weren't going to wait until she finishes college- it seems like a very long time.
