They are really nice looking indeed. Love the way you have set them up to take their pictures. Good job getting them to stand still.

Beautiful EE Roo Needs a New Home

Our neighbors have called the city and we must re-home our beautiful boy. "Bill" needs to find a new home. He is very affectionate and mostly well behaved. He does tend to be a bit more aggressive with the kids although, he comes to me to be picked up and will even sit in my lap. He is very protective of his flock. He lost most of his tail feathers and almost lost his life protesting the hens from a dog that got into the yard. As you can see, they are starting to grow back.

We are in Vancouver city limits. You can pick him up or I will bring him to you. He was raised as a day old hatchling in our home and he is a very much loved pet. Please no inquiries from anyone wanting chicken dinner.

Thank you.

That makes me upset - poor guy! Rooster pets should have the same rights as family dogs. I find my roosters soothing to listen to compared to my dogs and my neighbors dogs. And my roosters don't poop on the lawn my neighbors play one yet their dogs come poop on our lawn and dig up our landscaping.

I hope you find a good home for him; he's beautiful!

X2!!!!!! An all day dog barking session or an infrequent rooster? Kind of a no brainer to me. Or how but honking cars, dirt bikes, quads, sirens, lawn mowers, weed eaters and the like. I prefer the natural sounds to the man made ones!
Although this cockatiel squawking in my ear for the last 2 hours is wearing on me!

very pretty rooster. I have a 3 year old so I can't take him.

At what age do silkie roosters crow? My chickens have about a month left till they start laying and nobody has crowed yet.

Hi everyone,
Hope you are all having a great "spring"! I had a few of my goslings attacked by a raccoon I think and I'm wondering if anyone within 75 miles has a full grown large breed goose or pair of geese for sale that I can mix into my gaggle to help protect the younger ones. If so please send me a p.m. I don't mind paying for them either.

Thanks
