That makes me upset - poor guy! Rooster pets should have the same rights as family dogs. I find my roosters soothing to listen to compared to my dogs and my neighbors dogs. And my roosters don't poop on the lawn my neighbors play one yet their dogs come poop on our lawn and dig up our landscaping.

I hope you find a good home for him; he's beautiful!

X2!!!!!! An all day dog barking session or an infrequent rooster? Kind of a no brainer to me. Or how but honking cars, dirt bikes, quads, sirens, lawn mowers, weed eaters and the like. I prefer the natural sounds to the man made ones!
Although this cockatiel squawking in my ear for the last 2 hours is wearing on me!

My rooster is not nearly as obnoxious as the actual human neighbors that complained about him. I wish I could re-home them instead.

That's a shame! http://bestsmileys.com/sad/9.gif He's a gorgeous bird. I'd take him, but I'm over 400 miles north of ya'. Hope you find him a good home...

Maybe we could do a relay?

I would be up for a relay. I would seriously consider the full 400 mile hour drive to ensure he goes to a good home, if I can't find another taker.
