that one looks awesome, do you have the plans and parts needed for this. i am not in any way electrically inclined, but would love instructions to build this.

I could tell ya the parts I used and try to explain how I did it but I still would suggest reading in the home made incubator section. It was SOOOOO helpful to me when I was doing mine.

I found the most important part is the thermostat. spend $ on a good one!
I recommend the Lyons TX thermostats but they cost $60 and up. http://lyonusa.com/html/incubation_html/temp_controls.html

parts
are fairly easy,
Heating element (light bulb or I used a old heater with the heat wire and fan)
Fan (see above)
thermostat
a reliable accurate thermometer or 5
a humidity/water tray with sponges if needed.

Main things...
it maintains temp with very little differences
it maintains humidity wanted
and it has ventilation for air exchange

I'll try and get photos of mine soon but I used a wine cooler fridge
and I have a second wine cooler fridge that works to keep eggs in till I set them or sell them.
Wine fridges keep good temps at 50-60 and maintain humidity well.

Go for it! and good luck!

Well what exactly do you want to know. I know he was a leading foundation stud, had an impressive performance record, sired quite a few champions, who then sired more... I can find more info, if I knew what you were looking for.

Check out the home made incubator section in the learning center! That's how I made mine, by reading up! So far it has hatched over 50 eggs for me since the middle of March!
I used a mini fridge, tweaked hot water heater thermostat, still air fan and a light kit. I also put a window in the door. Luckily, a standard egg turner fit in it. Here's a pic.

that is pretty cool!

Rainwolf, yes thank you, that would be great. i did look at the learning center, it was helpful, however, being totally not electrically inclined, some of it was a bit beyond me. i do have a friend that is an electrician, so will see if he can help as well. i do believe that maybe taking on my freezer right now will be a little too much. i think i am going to try for a smaller one to start.

I would smell like coconut if I had to use my daughter's bath stuff

I had to laugh at myself...I was hoping others would get a good laugh out of it...and any other mothers or fathers might understand.

LOL Love it! Yesterday evening when I was leaving for work, I came out of the bathroom where DS was settling into his bath (where he has suddenly decided to stop "washing" and just "rinse" and then tell us he "washed"), and told my husband "smell him when he comes out here, and he better smell like chocolate!" You shoulda seen the look I got!!

Way too funny. Yep, been there done that with my kids too. My middle boy (now 15.5) .... I noticed he only had 1 or 2 pair of underwear for a weeks worth of wearing. I questioned him on it. He tells me: "I'm trying something new"...me: "And what would that be". him: "I wear them and then just turn them inside out and wear them that way, get more wear time out of them"....

My DS sometimes goes to bed wearing his DIRTY clothes!!! I was

yesterday morning when he came downstairs with ash still smeared on his face and still in his soot covered clothes! (I let him and his friends burn a bunch of scrap wood on Saturday; they used 2.5 bottles of lighter fluid "because it is raining"). On Friday I had repaired the holes in his down comforter and soaked the thing in Oxy for a few hours before washing it. The kid refuses to keep the Duvet cover on it, so it is white; well now black! Instead of going to bed, he was watching Myth Busters videos on his laptop until he fell asleep.
