But, then again, aren't most of us transplants?

I was born in Buffalo, NY. On the other hand, Mr H. is related on his mother's side to the Dennys.

I would keep track and make sure you are not paying for all the windshield time and waiting for the rain to pass. They must some crew to just run home when it rains. Maybe ya should teach em about "RAIN GEAR" !!!!

I agree, I am so tired of the rain. And yet again, this morning. Will it ever stop? Did you hear there was a mud slide in Winthrop? Up the Chewuch. Also one up past Conconully - trapped some campers up in Salmon Meadows area. this weather is insane.

Yeah the one at Salmon Meadows was my boss & her husband--they weren't trapped but had to back their 30+ foot RV & truck VERY fast to avoid being crushed by the slide. The people trapped on the other side were friends they were supposed to camp with! It doesn't surprise me--it's pouring out right now--AGAIN. I suppose it's good to keep things green & lessen the chance of wildfire but I'm still sick of it.

Come September, we'll be praying for rain.

Great Grandma, Grandma, mom and my sisters and I were all born and raised in Western WA...
We've been here since the mercer girls in 1857 were brought over by my great great grandpa Sam Tingley
