This is a ride hope I never get in our rail. This is why you don't back down the hill and hit the brakes. I don't know how many times he rolled but had to be at least one full since the whole top has sand on it. This is the only time he never had his helmet on. Thanks for 5 point harness.

DH and I thought we had the runs completely rat-proofed, so I left the feeders out. Then I started feeling creepy thinking of rats, DH opened the door to let the cat in and saw she had killed a large rat and put it by the door (opposite side of house from the chicken coop.) I then sent DS out to the run, and while he was out there, sure enough, a rat ran up the hardware cloth and squeezed through where the corrugated roof panels meet the walls. When the rat spotted Alex, it run through to the neighboring coop then up and over that wall. Grrrrrrr. I just went on line and ordered 2 rat zappers.

Both rats are a light sandy blonde with a white belly, prominant round ears, white undersides and a super-long tail.

Did I tell you I HATE rats? Now I won't be able to sleep. Creepy rats.

I can tell I put in a good days work yesterday because I can check my heart rate through the throbbing of my hands. They seem to get a little swollen and tingle and throb in the mornings after days where I did I lot of physical work.

Today looks like it will be *wonderful* (sorry Stumpy if it is still raining in Lacy). I will take pictures early and post them on my first break. Not much left to do - painting obviously - and the interior. Some ramps, and the run - staple on the chicken wire. Then, I'll need more chickens

What is your frost line?

I could not tell you ours - right off the bat - I don't remember. But remember it is different in different areas of the state.
