When I CAN..I am going to paint the side of 2 coops and this little barn like fish.
I LOVE the steelehead, and rainbow trout, Dolly Varden and cut throat.
The murals will be huge close ups, showing the golden eyes, and dots & the top by the roof eves will be salmon pink-red, then taper to the silvery green.
The eyes will be 1 foot across at least.
All this is done by air brush.
It will look so cool!!

I have to take the tarp off my 3/4 done coop & get on it today...have been putting inculation inside & quit a few days ago due to the foundation work on the house..I need 2 or 3 of ME & 2 or 3 of DH's to get caught up!

I still cannot find my box of CDs.......

Everything we have, or own, is packed in boxes...only a few essentials have been unpacked and everyday I spend at least 1 hr looking through boxes for something (like yesterday the CDs, the day before it was the bundt pan)
Then time will pass & I need something else I saw when I was looking for something else & try to remember what box it was in.....

It is like that card game where you have to remember where a certain card was...only on a grand & tiring scale.

Did RFF post a belly pic yet?
I do not want to miss it!

ONe last fast post before I leave for work.

I have 18 BO...talk about pigs with feathers. Holy cow....

They eat LOTS. They are right at 3 weeks old. Little porkers. Just moved them to an outside pen as it is suppose to be warm and it is nice and sunny right now. They are funny. Already cuddled up in the sun...sleepy little heavy eyes. Taking naps. They are tired babies.

It is what gave me the idea for the Tri-Plex. I adjusted the dimensions to 6x12 (from 4x8) and I want removable dividers. I will have attached runs. Which reminds me, I need to go to HD today and get more lumber

yeah that's cool!! What i am thinking is reducing the size to 4x4 with penned area and making little coops all over the place. maybe if they are spread out, no one will see them all.

His design is a 4x4 Coop with a run of 10x4. Super cool for three or maybe four birds. I use a variation on this for my quarantine coop. (larger run, but it is uncovered.)

We don't even have a jigsaw. Not sure which I will get, or if I'll use a big bread knife to make the cuts - I have 3 of them!

You may have a point there, and I have already spent more than I would have had I just gone to the farmers market for my fresh foods!

I started a bunch of seed trays, killed them all when I took them outside. Yesterday I bought 3 flats of starts, and today I re-potted them all into bigger pots as the soil in my garden is nothing but thick mud. If I till it now, it will only compact more. My hanging flower baskets will all be filled with lettuce, radishes and other veggies this year - flowers are priced way too high this year, even at Ace! I wish I had overwintered my fuschias

Oh a sawzall is indenspensible!!!!!!!!!
It is like a giant meat carving knife, and you can add wood, pruning or metal blades to it.
The Ryobi ones we have are cordless, so you simply charge the batteries & go!
We have the ryobi jigsaw too.
Home Depot carries the collections at good prices, where you get the circular saw (skillsaw) vacuum (tough sucker--love it, I can vacuum my whole house with it one one charge in 2 minutes

) the sawzall (reciprocating saw) & blades, 2 chargers, 4 batteries and a chop saw (mitre saw)on top of the tool box, all in a cabinet with a handle & wheels..
LOVE IT.
Get one for Don..Father's Day is coming & then you will get to use it!!!
