You should look at this -- https://www.backyardchickens.com/web/viewblog.php?id=25815-hen-duplex

It
is what gave me the idea for the Tri-Plex. I adjusted the dimensions to 6x12 (from 4x8) and I want removable dividers. I will have attached runs. Which reminds me, I need to go to HD today and get more lumber

That duplex is almost exactly like the one we are building right now, only ours is end to end so the roof is peaked, not a shed roof.
The other 2 duplex coops we have are shed roofs.
One is a duplex and one is a triplex.
I will see if I can find the link I based it on..

Kind of like this.. https://www.backyardchickens.com/web/viewblog.php?id=3005-Coop_Page
But
there is walls, and on the walls is doors to open to clean the poop trays, and a door below to access nest boxes, which are inside, not outside.
We are fully insulating with styro board, and so it is double walled.
We also have a floor, not wire.
But kinda like this one.

Coop access doors like this...... https://www.backyardchickens.com/web/viewblog.php?id=49043

So
if you cut this last coop in half, and put the peaks togather, that is the coop.
I will try & get more pics today..

IMHO a $20 sawzall (new) aint worth packing home. I would also stay away from the ones at HFT I destroyed one of them in less than a week cutting up an aluminum boat.
CL Yes I also have the RYOBI. I have cordless drill, right angle drill and recrip saw. My next will be the little circ saw.
I have a 5 1/2" corded and it is my favorite.

We have a big worm drive skillsaw for tough stuff.
But we use the battery ryobi circular ALOT.
Downside is hard to find blades for it (even at Home Depot) and it can drain a fully charged battery cutting 3 or 4 2x4s...we buy extra batteries all the time, and several times DH has taken them apart (over the years they get wounded in action) and resouldered their innards & so repaired them.
Love these tools !

We have the Milwalkee with a cord. Cordless is convenient but we always run out of batteries for the stuff we do with it. Hate having to quit a job when you have to wait for batteries to recharge. We have the Dewalt 18 volt cordless drill with 2 batteries which usually lasts to finish a job. But sometimes we revert to the corded one anyway.

Well, that's mostly what Harbor Freight carries.

I love HF for disposable gloves, bungie cords, tarps, clamps, various doohickies like carabiners, casters, and things like pilot hole bits that get broken anyway or hole saws which are never any good no matter how much you pay for them. They also have a better price on hose menders, hose end cut-offs, and other hose related doohickies than anywhere else.

I'd be very wary of using a power tool from there, but I tend to push power tools to their limit, and a sawsall is not something I'd want breaking on me.
