Curved tip syringes can sometimes be gotten at Medical Supply places; I've seen them at Kirk's in Lacey.

Probably at vet's offices too.

Yeah- I know that when a friend's dog was being given heroic treatment for fish poisoning she had a curved syringe for irrigating his penile sheath. Which, oh well: the things we do for our animals!

Always a good idea to maintain a good relationship with at least one vet: there's times it comes in handy.

I have a pretty wide variety and if I don't know somebody who has it I can probably find it. I also like the barter system.

One reason I buy meat by the quarter when I can is that the world is full of people who like pot roast and hamburger a whole lot more than I do and will trade for fine motor skills and heavy lifting services.

Fish poisoning?

A friend of ours almost lost their lab to salmon poisoning. They had no clue the little creek behind their house could have been a potential risk for the dog.

So -- my searches for breeding/genetic information found this page, and I felt it was worth of sharing. If you don't understand how gentics work, and how things are passed from one generation to another, this site seems to answer those questions. I'm very glad I found it.

Wikipedia to the rescue.

They were living on a creek with a small salmon run, and their Lab ate a spawned-out dog salmon; I lost one dog to the disease when an eagle was nest-cleaning and dropped the remains on my place; Griz got sick when he dug up somebody's compost pile, but I smelled fish on his breath and took him to the vet post haste.

(I started this a half-hour ago, and then the hired help showed up and I got sidetracked).

(and then didn't proofread, oh, well)

This helped me, too. It was from CL. It has a link to a calculator as well.
