It took me 2 hours this morning to get caught up with the forum! lol Thats why most of my posts are all in a row. lol Looks like we might actually get some clearer sky's this afternoon, but I'm not going to hold my breath.

Hows everything at your little farm going?

The little farm is a great deal enough for me for sure. We have the coop floor done, 3 walls up. We purchased the rest of the needed materials and hope to get most of it completed this weekend. Woot! Da chicks will me most happy indeed to get outta the garage! The veggies are doing ok, well, the ones that the slugs left. We needs more of that bright shuny orby thinger to come pay visits more often. my 108 tomato plants would like to request more sun for the rest of the year, the 125 squash plants agree, and the 125 peppers in the glass greenhouse, demand it!

I'm traveling to Leavenworth the last weekend of July - the 29th - 31st? If we could put together a deal to make connections along the way I could get him from Tacoma to east of the mountains.

I am willing to drive him to Tacoma. Anyone heading further east around that time??

Also, Jean has an ad on CL, we'll see if we get any bites there too...Thank you!!!!

We are on Centurylink... 99% of the time they are wonderful. We knew it wasn't us, the traceroute I did showed the issue was a connection somewhere closer to the main server the website is housed on. Glad to be back!

That looks like the bee that stung me a couple of weeks ago, but that sting was NOT mild, it was one of the most painful bee stings I've ever had and hurt for several hours!! So, musta been something else....

I tried to raise my kids to be thoughtful, self reliant, kind, and never to pay full retail for anything if they could avoid it...

I love couponing. Never full retail - you betcha.

Our family motto is "Final Clearance, 50% off the last marked price."

I havnt even bothered to start a garden this year. I let the chicens have at it. there is still some rosemary, parsley, chives, ect. But they are all resprouts from last years plantings.

Last nights swarm will be the last one I will go after this year. It is getting too late for them to draw comb so queen can lay and they can put in nectar and pollen.
I would not waste mooney on an excluder unless you plan to make splits. Otherwise they are too damaging to the bees and not needed.
Also there is a place in Centralia that sells supplies and soon to be one out by Adna on Hwy. 6.

If ya get stung find some of the plant plantain and mush it so it gets juicy then put the juic on said sting. The one I got last night had a little sting at first then just itched.
