Well He started crowing again.. at 5:30. I live out in the middle of nowhere between Granite falls and Lake Roseinger (sp?) But I only have a third of an acre and have neighbors all around me. Should I try and keep him? will making the light come on later in his coop make him crow later?

I am still having issues with BYC...the site is running super-slow.

Everything else is just fine (other websites). I have NCI (North Cascades Internet).

I am getting this message:

Have you tried contacting the fair where you want to show? I would think they could give you the best info. And BTW

Okay, posted earlier...but I will re-word: Is there a way that you have to "finish-off" birds before butchuring. By this I mean they have been on chick start n grow....do I change their food for the last week or so. I now have 2 crowing and they need to go. I have a total of 5 to go. Or can I just "do them in" right off the start n grow. Should I give them scracth for a week? or something else?

Yes, Kansas and CR, the feed is medicated. That is why I was curious/concerned. I was wondering on just putting them on straight scratch or something to get the medication part out of their body before head chopping begins.
