Night night.

for tying up yes to an inner tube. dragging a line, wont hurt him. he needs to get over the tug on his head, he shows his little temper when there is pressure on the halter when I am leading him. ear pinning with a shake of the head...lol sorry big boy get over it. spoiled I guess. he will be gelded before he is a year I bet lol. I put a short lead rope on him, just long enough he can step on it with his front feet. take it off at night or when I am not home. he has only had one lesson with a butt rope, after that I would pull him side to side with his halter and when he took a step I would let go so no pressure.
now if you would like to take on a mini mule you just let me know. he is wearing a halter, but does not lead nor can you touch him. yep you just let me know when you want a big challenge lol

LOL Im good on the mini mule! I'm already woring with a little mini jac, and boy is he truly a challenge! I wish his owner would just geld him and get it over with! Same client owns Nickers, the jack, and the pony that had started to founder! This older couple run a petting zoo / pony rides... And well, she pays me to pretty much take care of her horses and to remind her when the horses need something more than food... So yeah. Im good on the mule! lol Donkeys and mules are an entire diferent world!

Editing to add an after thought! lol

I will however be more than willing to go out and see him in the field if I ever get out that way. I do love a challenging critter. Every four legged animal here is a challenge. Tegan is a head case Welsh pony, Lacy is a cranky hussy of a mare, Prada is a baby, Red is agressive, and nickers has "issues."

your more than welcome to stop by any time your out this way

We were out walking along the river in Woodinville this afternoon. It was only in the low seventies, but sooooo humid. We were sweating.

I thought Washington did not have humidity. I was hoping to get away from it when we move there.

It depends on which side of the State you live on. We have had a lot of rain in Eastern WA, this year, so it was very humid this spring. But generally it is dry.

It can get muggy if we have rain one day and higher temps the next, but that is very infrequent.

Very nice. I need someone to help me chop the 5 roos I have in my backyard. I can help...just been too long since I have done it. DH won't help. I need to get ahold of RFF and see if I can get her FIL to help me.

Love the brooder. Nice set up for yourself for the chop jobs.

BTW - I am some 10 pages behind. Very busy with kids. I don't know if I will ever get caught up. If anyone out there needs to talk with me please PM me.

I have people asking me to buy eggs..I really don't have enough....but when I get too many I do give them away. I may have to reconsider and get more hens (I am keeping some of my buff orp girls). Also, I have had people starting to come to me (more and more) to buy chicks - this is wonderful. Doing nicely.

See ya' all as soon as I can.

It can hover here normally (winter & spring) between 70-90 %, but it is cool, so not so noticible.
(we are on the coast, so get fogginess)
Then one day the sun pops out, and it dries out, and the humidity can plummet to 37% in just a day.
It can play hell with incubation, trying to keep it balanced...

CL I have yer Cast Irons done. I really need to put something on the bare iron to keep it from rusting. What can I usr that is safe for you. For me I would just use a light spray of non-stick or rub a thin layer of motor oil.

Jack has been going nuts off & on all night.
He is still going nuts.
Something is up in the trees...whatever it is, he knows it is there & barks & growls every 10 minutes.
Between that, and the skunk stink, we did not get very good sleep.
Opening the windows brought in the barking & stink.
Closed the windows & it was hot.

Supposed to be 73 here & rainy ....I suspect we will have T-storms with that.
Anyone hear that ?
