this is baby rosie, she has an under bite and is very small, my friend raises Boers but, she just has too many and no time to bottle feed this little one. I put her down on the lawn when I got home and my outside cats are almost bigger then she is!! I bout fell over laughing cause one of my cats saw her and hunched her back!!! It was hilarious!!

HOW SWEET!
Speaking of silly animals... the other day, my Leghorn bantams were yelling a danger cry because of the swollowtail butterflies!

FYI:: I want some Boer goats BAD.

you do?? bucks, does ? how old?? This little gal if she turns out, is papered, but, I personally would only breed her if her jaw straightens out, which my friend say's has actually gotten better over the week. Let me know what you want CL I might be able to work something out with her, I know she has bunches!!!

My opinion ONLY --

Birds of the same age, who are pretty close to the same size can be housed together. The breeds you mentioned, BR, SLW, BO - would all be fine in a flock together. I have 8 EE's, 8 RIR's, 4 Stars, 1 BO, 1 SLW and 1 GLW-Roo - things are going along swimmingly, even tho I don't have any ducks.

I personally, would not try and put bantams and large fowl together -- UNLESS --- a bantam roo over LF hens -- maybe.

You are not a nuttie newbie -- unless we all are. Other than CR. He's old.

Stepping on rats is not. There are few to no rats on the dry side of the mtns. I've lived here for 35 yrs -- never seen a rat.

Now I've done it -- rat jinxed my own darn self.

Dave

We have B.A. PACKRATS! They are HUGE and smell like cat pee. VERY destructive.
