Oh they eat them ok, and they get very very sick , than the next time they get to your yard they head straight to the same plant and do the same thing. Than when you come home you see your sweet husband and son have take the rhodies all out of your yard. Why honey did you do that, well I dont want to smell you like that and hate to see you cry because your goat might not make it. Yep he took out one that I had gotten from my great uncle who has passed. I was so mad but you know I couldnt say anything because he's just a great husband.

I'll not get goats then. My Grandma gave me my rhodies when she moved to an nursing home 5yrs ago, she had a rhodie nursery for 35yrs. I grew up there so there is alot of memories. My rhodies are special so no goats I guess.

You can have the two you just need to be sure to keep them apart. I know lots of people who have the two.. In my front yard I have two. The girls never get there theyd have to go through two chain link fences to get to them and lots of dogs too.

yea there a dollar?? regular news stand is 2 dollars, but you have to check the papers, sometimes people come and take the ads out thats why I get there early, sometimes they run out!!

Oh on Sunday I went to Albertsons and the guy working there told me that a woman goes to all the place's and steals the coupons out of the papers. Thats just not right!!

wow what a jerk!! Why can't people be nice?? Terry told me to go to the dollar store and grab a bunch of papers and take the ads out and put them back!! I said no way their only a dollar and that would make me mad if I bought some without, which has actually happened so I make sure and look now!

We had to have a few heart to hearts before he got it!! I know he's scared, and really so am I, but, he's really the best guy and we have built a good life, so.... it's time!!

I so understand, I told my husband ( he's my second) that I would stay with him a year and if it wasnt working I was on my way I wasnt going to waste my time, that I had taken to much from my first one. Plus I had a son... So two years later we got married.

It was last yr when I bought 4 chicks from a guy in Orting. He had a lot of chicks in a horse stall. I got 2 RIR, 1 GLW & 1 white / cream feathered with green down EE. The EE didn't start loosing feathers but the other 3 were. Turned out it was picking on the other ones, they had bald backs. We seperated the EE but if it got loose it made a bee line to the other chicks & started pulling feathers. We found it another home but it died 2wks later. The lady didn't know why. Just weird.

yep me too! Life is too short to be messing around, and not that I would be out there looking if we split but, I want someone who wants me, not just someone to watch his house and do the domestics ..... if you get my drift!!

yea I think that may be what it is, cause it's only three and they were getting a little big for the apple bin so maybe they were over crowded a little?? They are in a big outside run with cover so I think they'll get better, just thought I would ask?? Thanks

I've had bad luck with birds from this guy too -- Donald is his name. Nice enough folks, but they are chicken-traders, not chicken-lovers. I would not recommend getting birds from them

I do know, I just don't want to take a chance. Growing up we rescued 2 pigmy goats, male & female. We had a fenced yard but not cross fenced except for the little stall area so we tied the goats out. Never had plant problems. The male had horns & would protect his girl once in a while, that was a pain so we got rid of them. I'm just thinking of the future, I couldn't have them here. Chickens are enough for this .40 acre. My husband just got an awesome paying job so I am dreaming of the house & land I can have. I know I want a horse or 2. Just thinking of the other animals I can have that are easy to care for. Its all dreams right now as we have 2yrs before we can move as hubby has to be at his job 2yrs or we'd have to have enough money saved to buy.

Uhm horses do require a considerable amount of work to PROPERLY care for and they are NOT cheap to have.

As for goats they will do a fine job of going right after any favorite plants or other things you don't want them chewing on!!!! And for keeping them penned up I always used a good electric fence run at 6" and 16" above the ground. Never had any problems. But let the fencer fail and they were out.
