I'm actually in Lake Forest Park. Currently, the rule is something like 20,000 sq ft required to have three chickens (not sure on the # of chickens). But the planning rep at City Hall said so many people have called asking about it that they are changing the rule this summer. It will most likely be six birds allowed on any size lot.

I grew up in LFP. Except it wasn't LFP then. You know the hill with the park and the reservoir on top? Their house is on the south side of the hill. I remember when the reservoir went in when I was kid.

I have to say, with everyones talk of relationships, that I feel very lucky I chose the person I did to be with. The most genuine, sincere man I've ever met. That does mean that I have to watch what I say as my words can be too harsh for him at times. I'll take that so long as I can have the unconditional love (and occasional neediness) for me & all the pets, & family & friends.
Of course, we are in the 'honeymoon' period of ours lives- only been together 5yr (married for <2 of those), have Baby on the way, and have many things to lok forward to.

I feel for those who are battling the crossroads- happened for me with the first man I married. Too much compromise can be a bad thing, especially when only one person is compromising.

my 18 month old nephew was just admitted to mary bridge. He has MRSA, resistant staph. They were supposed to be here tomorrow, after putting my brother on a plane back to Afghanistan

Big Hugs to RFF and CGG and to those whose spouses/SO's are not supportive of their hobbies.

I have so much to be thankful with my DH. We spent the early part of the day, before it got to hot, starting another coop for the Seramas.

I admit he did come out and say, this is the LAST coop I am ever building! But I have future plans and he will eventually come around.

But I agree with whoever it was who said that life it too short to be unhappy/miserable.

Hope your DH's/SO's eventually see the light!

Just wait till the baby has it's first 'blowout' Poop in every direction! Only course of action is the bath tub! Might make him rethink a bit!

Been there.
Our oldest was a infant he actually shot a glob of poo on DW leg and it stuck. We still laugh about it.
DW can't handle kid or dog vomit or dog poop that is one of my jobs.

My 6 mo old, cute as can be in his osh-kosh bibs, in a grocery store, had a red-face grunting blow out so bad that it ended up BELOW, in all the groceries in the cart.
Not fun at the check out stand when I had to 'bag' him in a grocery sack cuz he was so poopy !!!!!!!!!!

It went UP and down each leg!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OMG, you are bringing back memories!!!
