I've pre-sold my entire egg production.

So, yeah: I haven't so much moved around as vibrated within a very narrow range.

The 4th of July up at my cousin's house, met his current crop of chickens who are not free-ranging. His Buff Orpington is blind-eyed broody, with no eggs under her, and he's got a whacky selection of half-grown chicks from the eggs he'd gathered when he lost a bunch of chickens to the coyote, and RSLs and BSLs that were in the brooder then, and about thirty Chinese pheasants, and the OEGB pair, and some other bantams... he doesn't want any of my surplus cockerals, but does want an Ameraucana rooster. They've got a fenced larger run about 40X40, and an inner run about 10X20, and a secure coop.

I ended up with a bunch of people who came down to meet my lamb, including a two year old and a one year olf, both of whom wanted to move in with him. I couldn't run small tours, which is my usual thing, because my best favorite ankle boots had their insoles disintegrate after I put them on, which is so very not what one wishes at a BBQ.

(Meh: none of the photos I took are worth looking at, I shall try to take more sometime this week).

Central Indiana and Eastern Kansas probably have the same type of weather. We moved here from Redwood Valley, Ca in 79, I was around 13, I am still not use to it. 70* temp would be grand.

You and I are the same age. I grew up in CA as well, but in the Bay Area.

I am from the bay area too

Hayward, CA

My dad was in the navy

Hey Stump!

We were semi-neighbors. While I said I lived in Oly - it really was closer to Lacy. I went to two different elementary school -- Lydia Hawk, and South Sound Elem. We had moved out on to Johnson Point towards the end of our stay on the wet side.

I love small worlds
