Wonder what will hatch out of that egg if it was fertile?

I have a bunch of cinnamon ducks and am wondering what colour eggs I will get.
I'm tired of collecting white eggs, but I don't like the way the blue ducks look, even though they lay blue eggs.
I just sold my blue Holderread male and 2 blue girls and a silver splash boy to a lady in Monroe.
I have another few boys to sell, but I can't decide which cinnamon to sell. Light or dark shade. I only need one drake and maybe a spare just in case, then 8 girls.
That is 10 ducks eating me out of house & home.

Remember the important stuff, hard to do when you have your first baby:

And diapers, newborns to start, then I went to cloth, as it is sustainable...and clean, and cheaper.
But always had disposibles for emergencies.
I hate disposible diapers, they last for centuries in landfills...never stopped at a nice road side place without seeing a dirty disposible diaper floating in the water...So gross...

It is a fertile Cuckoo Maran fart egg, with a Awesome Cuckoo Maran big Daddy....so my guess is a Cuckoo Marans would hatch out !!

I just went to Chehalis, met CR & Ogress, and Broodytood's wonderful (and cute) DH came & met us & brought the washer & dryer for T-Hi!!!!!!!!!!!!!
T-Hi's washer & dryer, are snug in our little trailer...now how to get it to her

With DH leaving for CA on the 6th...we will have to make a run to Toni...

It goes sooo fast! One day they are babies and the next they are never around anymore because they have a busy social life and are driving! Enough about my life now.

Remember your baby isn't going to care what her crib looks like, she is only going to care that you love her

and care for her needs and emotions.

And I have no doubt that you will do that with all of your heart and soul.

THIS is the "nesting" women do...if you were a bunny, you'd be bring soft grasses in, and pulling belly hair....

Not to mention that old cloth diapers are infinitely useful, lint-free and soft for washing windows. And disposable diapers have to be disposed of, which gets to be a problem.

With my kids I used "Mother Ease" cloth diapers - so easy! They snap on and the same diaper will have snaps for many sizes. Sold them when I was done with them too!
And you will need those bra pads - lots of them! They are washable too.

I was mad that I spent my budget on the crib and high chair - my kids didn't even go in the crib until they were a year old, and both were out by 18 months as they climbed over the rail. The high chair was not used until they were 18 months. I wasted several hundred on an expensive italian thing because it came so highly recommended. White leather. Both my kids loved red pasta sauce and carrots. the thing always looked awful and was so difficult to clean because of all the "convenience" features. All places for food to get caught! I wish I had purchased a cheapy IKEA HC that could be placed in the dishwasher.


My parents gave me a nice stroller with a bassinet. Alex slept in that when he was very small, or in our bed. With Olivia, someone loaned me a "co-sleeper". I think that was the BEST gift ever, especially if you have a c-section because standing up to get your crying baby in the middle of the night is painful! with the co-sleeper, you just reach over to get them without ever having to stand up or even sit up. Made sleeping so much nicer for everyone.
