Thanks! I feel like such a wuss....but to my credit...no one I know (out of the 5 ladies I work with who have had children in the last 18 months) made it to (almost) 37 weeks and still were at work!

That said...I have to work 10 hours tomorrow.

And I'm going into work for a 1/2 on Monday (normally my day off) so I can work a 1/2 day on Friday (the 5th) and have the rest of the day to get ready for my SIL's wedding on Saturday!

That little blue roo is still holding on...barely....it was about 85 today and it was 77 in the coop. He was laying down when I got home (on his side!!!!) but perked up when I gave him water. He ate a little bit and then I gave him more water. He's just kind of sitting there now...

oh that sounds delicious; I dearly love raspberries but it's difficult to get them without the bottom layer already getting moldy

neighbor usually grows some and lets me pick a few, but this year it was so cold and wet so late, that she whacked them all down

X2! "You can do it!" I made it to 39 weeks at work and it sucked!!! But I was glad I made it that long so I could take as much maternity leave as possible.

I hope it turns out today....I'm pre-heating the oven now! If it turns out well, I'll take some pics and post the recipe!

Glad to see you back and that all is going "semi" great. We missed you! I hope you find some good birds this weekend

LONG day, although at the end of it I have two big soft places in the fence nicely blocked with livestock panels, another cut panel ready for roofing the Wyandotte coop, a wire dog crate (they're 20% off at Del's, so I got a large size one for $60 or so) and a hundered feet of 1/2" X 1" cage wire, which should do me for a while. And my son nicely wired in the livestock panels and cut the lumber I need to finish siding the north wall of the Wyandotte coop. Progress is pretty stuff!

And CL brough the most beautiful cockerel for my cousin Michael!

So: progress!
