Wow,.All I had was a protein drink with 2 shots of espresso in it!!!
I want what she is having...That means more clothes shopping....I used to love to go shopping for my girls when they were little. Now they're teenagers and I hate to shop with them.

Im just glad that she likes fruits and vegis over sweets! How did I get so lucky? lol Granted healthy food is much pricier than junk food. But I would MUCH rather have her eating avacado over ice cream or cookies. lol Girl LOVES eggs, every morning I hear; "Mommy I hungy," as she rubs her tummy, "I want scambled eggs!" And no, the missing r's arent typos. lol Can't believe that she is going to be 3 on the 26th already!

My daughter's first real word, sort of, was eggs, or at least "geggnees!" Her brother's first day at preschool, and he was no longer available to translate baby to English. The phone rang right as I was putting her scrambled eggs on, and about ten seconds after they were done and I was juggling phone and plate she started hammering on her high chair with her spoon and chanting "geggnees, geggnees, geggnees!"

That's really nice lacing on that SLW; I've been seeing too much incomplete or broken or very dark on hatchery birds in my neighboring flock, it's a relief to see a good one!

My uncle's feed store in Graham gets his chicks from this place: http://www.privetthatchery.com/home/default.aspx I really have liked all the chicks, adults now this month, I got from him. Specially my Silver Lace, they look pretty good quality. When I shopped else where for my Golden Lace I was very disappointed, no body just color. I got rid of that one. This silver lace has color & body. Her sister isn't as nice, I don't like her big crown, she's a little smaller in body, carries her tail more up over her back when on allert but her egg is so nice (thick round smooth shell, almost never any poo stuck to it) & lacing is pretty good. Here's pictures of just my 2 silver lace. The big crown one is available if anyone would like her, $20. She will stay here till someone is interested. She's never been broody.

Mama - she's a keeper. Like a bowling ball

Big Crown Girl - for sale to right home. Last of ten chicks to feather out & had more white then the rest.

Pretty, but the last thing I need right now is another chicken: the thing about the Adult Children being all grown up and independant and me being less than perfectly healthy means that my chicken coops sit un-worked-on for days and days. Which is a pity, because I'd really like a SLW just to look at.

If you had more than one I'd be there!

Nope just the one Silver Lace i'm willing to part with. I do have a cuckoo marans (no feather legs) or a rir I could part with to go with the Silver Lace. The cuckoo marans are the same age as the Silver Lace, the rir are a couple of weeks difference in age.

I'm thinking T-Hi is suddently posting and she knows CR's secret, and CR was waiting for the brown, but he did not say if the brown was delivering to him or to T-Hi. I'm thinking CR is responsible for getting a computer sent to T-Hi and that is the secret! Pretty Cool! Maybe I'm wrong, but that is my guess. Awesome and very thoughtful secret!

I was going to question and was glad to see THI back on...she must have got some internet connection (duh)....we are all glad to see/hear from her. Is this something you did?

We're thinking the same - guess I'll read ahead and find out if we're right..... I should just shut-up until I'm caught up instead of blabbering like a fool.

Why can't you live closer to North Bend? I've been droolong over your flock since I first stumble upon your website - no teenage girls visiting this summer though that HAVE to see Forks. Dang. I first found your website like a week after I was there.

Now har far south in Washington? There are at least several Oregon peeps who seem to believe that they are really living in Southern Washington, and the map-makers just drew the border wrong as it should be the Rogue and not the Columbia River.

That is exciting news. How fantastic & congratulations.
I quit several years ago. Such a monkey off my back.

Russ

How do people afford to smoke these days? I quit when I got pregnant with my son- no problem, made me sick- but before that I smoked a pack a day of Camel Straights. For which I paid, what, $1.20 a pack? And it's now nearly ten times that? Even smokeless is ridiculously expensive.

Wooo Hooo CR!!!!

I've been trying to get a good friend of mine to stop - she smokes nearly 2 packs a day, and she's afraid her home will be forclosed on because she hasn't been making full-payments, and the worry makes her smoke more and drink. She can't seem to see that if she quits smoking, she won't have problems paying her motgagae!
