Made last second arrangements to do the threshing bee this weekend. Just hope I have enough stuff and have to figure out how to deal with DW as she wouldn't make it from 8-7 3 days and have to deal with her meals and meds too.

Very concerned . Michelle is at the Autism foundation in Mass. and due to fly out of NY on Sat. thats about when they project that dang storm to hit there.

And whatever Hermiston has, I'm sure any well known heirloom variety can beat. (Moon and Stars, Ali Baba, Orangeglo, Rattlesnake, Sugar Baby, etc)

Watermelons grown on large scales are rarely truly GOOD because they're varieties bred for production and seedlessness, not flavor.
