T...check the coop designs that RFF has...she had some nice small ones with pop doors underneath.......
I saw some nice small coops with pop doors underneath at WA4-HPoultryMom's place too, very cool & perfect for Bantams or small birds like Sebbies & Icelandics.
I am planning one for my Icelandics, something high built on the side of an existing coop and then split the pen yard.
Icelandics can fly well so it will be higher off the ground, like a tree house.

Awesome horse, beautiful head!!
I need to paint him.

Ha ha! Yes, he is gorgeous! Wish I could keep them all but Jean is a great Mom. My weakness is eye candy. Just can't have a plain brown horse or a plain brown chicken! If you paint him I want a copy!

OK!!

I will have to get photos sent to my e-mail in order to paint him.
Otherwise I cannot paint him without permission from the owner.
I gotta go to work.
You have my addy!

LOL, you are so funny! That's Grace, she weighs about 60 lbs. She showed him for the first time this year. I figured since he knows the halter routine by heart and he behaves very well in class she could do it. She got first place under both judges.

I will send you a photo a bit later so you can paint him.....how exciting!

Funny. That's what DH calls him too!
Hit 30 weeks yesterday which means we're 3/4 there (give or take). We are currently attempting to savor the quiet as much as possible. OB on Friday said there's no way he's coming early… So depending if he takes after me (to which he'll come early to spite her) or DH (to which he'll happily comply). Whatever it is, we're happy to bake him a little longer.

Hers one of my favorite pictures of his mom, and yes, she had a plain brown foal the second time! His name was Opie. I really miss her too.

Heres a cute picture of him with his buddy Sarah. They are about 4 months old

Jean has more pics of him as an adult.

Okay...here is the "EXPANSION AREA". There is a lot of space here. That willow tree is one of the largest in Okanogan County....we had 30 feet cut out of the top some 8-10 years ago...as of know it is probably 4 stories tall.

From current chicken area looking down area towards kid's pool:

Looking from pool area toward current coop/pens:

This area never was finished how we wanted too....just was at the bottom of the list. I may be inheriting (sp) this area too. We may be selling the pool. The kids just don't use it:

And the big girls wanting to know what it is I am doing out in the yard (in my pink fuzzy robe) and why is it that I am not letting them out:

Okay, I am going to look at RFFs coops. Ideas and suggestions are always appreciated. This is our backyard so I am going to try and keep it looking at least 1/2 way nice. But again....this may be a project in the works.
