Cheryl --

Two of the birds I got from you left me eggs today

One was blue(ish) -- and the other was very speckled (CM?)

That is a good deal. Wonder if there would be any left by Saturday?

Russ

Call and pay for it over the phone. Tell them you'll pick it up on Saturday.

Think it's too heavy to use as a tractor in our field?

yes, looks like it is a roll of chainlink lengths, a bunch of pipe, and the connectors to put them all together

in some ways easier to transport than panels

since it's DIY rather than panels -- after all they call it a KIT ---
much less labor involved to manufacture

possibly not as much of a bargain as it first appears .. but lends itself to some versatility if you realize you are buying MATERIALS and not a set-in-concrete kennel

This is when you call the Attorney General's office, your congressman's constituent services person, Ask Jesse, and whoever's taken over the consumer complaints column at the Trib, and make loud noises about animal cruelty.

OK hope I don't get in trouble on here but I have started and hope others will join in. This was my letter to KOMO4 problem solvers. Since I didn't have the permission of cmsdvm I DID not name anybody but myself. However I think they may want to know who sent the birds so they can contact.

Hi I hope you can look into this right away. I have a friend who has shipped some LIVE chickens with the post office. Well they have been left setting in Seattle PO since Tuesday. Here is the story as relayed to me.
My birds are lost AGAIN! I shipped bantam Polish to Massachusetts Tuesday. Did they arrive Wednesday? No. Today? No. 27 minutes on line, 2nd call to Consumer Affairs- 19 min on hold- "Oh, they are still in Seattle. We haven't shipped them because there is flooding in Massachusetts." "Will they go out tomorrow?" "I don't know." "Can I drive down and get them so they can get some water." "No." "Is there any way SOMEONE can get to these birds?" "No." "You do realize these are living creatures?" "Yes, Ma'am, but if they don't arrive tomorrow we can authorize a refund of your Express shipping costs."
So is the US postal service exempt from animal cruelty laws that would have any of up on charges. PLEASE try to look into this very soon there are lives at risk.
Thank you very much for your assistance.
Please feel free to contact me anytime.
