I know that most people like being able to walk in to their coops (my cousin's is a walk-in that is attatched to the back wall of the stable) but since I'm mostly housing small breeding groups I prefer to just have things safely up off the ground so I don't have to lean over to feed, clean, or collect eggs.

Stumpfarmer, could you show a picture of one of your coop that you have constructed using the dementions you described?
I'm totaly visual

The, umm, female (don't think we can use the B word) is probably going to reach above 24 inches in height, she's easily going to exceed 100 lbs in weight.

The male though is slightly a disappointment. He's gorgeous, huge, well muscled, has a BIG head, but - He's only about 20 1/2 inches tall. I think it's the fact that he arrived here with Parvo that stunted it, not sure.

The female is very active, extremely athletic, and quite leggy but with growing good muscle tone. She's a bit thick though. Well, not a bit, but very thick. She's smart, but she's also quite dumb at the same time. The male is a friendly guy but not as needy of attention as her. He's the kind to say hi then go do his thing. He's MUCH easier to train though.

This is my latest photo of the boy, "Cliff." Not the greatest but kinda shows his bulk. He looks droopy/sad here but it's just the look he was giving me at the time. His tail was wagging as always.

I'll get better/more photos today.

When I ship eggs, I double box them, and write nothing on the exterior except "Call when at final arrival------------" and the addressee's phone number IF they want to be called when the package arrives, due to that very reason.
When we have written "eggs" the box (even doubled) arrive looking as if a truck had run it over..we tried and we could not crush the boxes like 'they' had.
I do not think it was caused by our Postal Office workers, but by the freight handlers.
I gota go do a haircut.

I have not had the time to watch them yet...but thank you much...this is great. I will watch tonight when I can relax.
Thank you so very much.

I want to build 3 or 4 and use them as my "over flow". For separating out birds to decide what I am going to do with them or to use as quarantine or just whatever I need or want it for.

Huh, she should be home- I didn't get a call-back on something yesterday, either, their voicemail may be screwed up.

Except I just realized I don't have a phone at the moment... OK, she sys there was one number she called and called and called and no answer, so call her?
