Darn it all. Now you've got me looking at bulb catalogs!

Okay I looked at just one of the sites, and it's a shame I don't have a spare 300.00 laying around. I sure do like to dream though.

The best thing you could do would to be box them up and mail (UPS) them over to me

Weirdly enough, it's easier from where you are than where I am, since there's a pretty direct route to Goldendale and not the ugly, ugly thing that is I-5 these days.

I'd love to go- for one thing, I want to look at all the Bantams and see who might have eggs, chicks or started trios available next spring (I'm looking closely at a few breeds in Mille Fleur, Porcelaine, Blue, Blue Red, or Crele colors but am more likely to make a good choice by looking at birds and talking to breeders in person than reading everything I can find and looking at pictures). But I am short of money, time, and the ability to sit in a car right now, especially the last two.

We have bantam Old English Game birds in the Crele variety. They are really pretty. I love that you can sex them at hatch. Look me up in the spring if you want some hatching eggs/chicks. Or when you are ready for the black BLRW roo.

Wish you were closer! I'd give my Wheaten roo the chop and give your boy a good home! Im so sick of my roo, he's such an applesauce head!

I could meet you half way. I think that there is a Del's feed store in Port Orchard area. I would rather see him go to a good home, than the auction.

I know theres a Dells in Port Orchard. Never been there though... Let me figure out what my husbands schedule is, and if the icky way I am feeling is gonna get worse, and we will figure it out...

Just started feeling like crud about 30 minutes ago, heads achey, and my stomache is very queezy... Not sure whats going on, sure hope Im not getting sick...

I'd also like to ask for some prayers and postitive thoughts please for our dog Abby Rose. You may all remember we just recently lost our Golden Kelby. Abby has started drinking water like it's going out of style. Took her to the vet this morning and they drew blood and I have to call later today for the results. Despite all the water she's drinking, during her exam, he said her mouth was dry, slightly dehydrated. She was too tense for him to get a good feel of her abdomen. Google has shown me it could be diabetes or kidney failure.

On another note, we won't be able to make it to Stevenson and I am really bummed. Oldest DD has to take the PSAT's that Sat morning. Plus we can't really afford it at the moment. Hoping we can do it in the spring though. And we are planning to go to the show in Chehalis in December.

I have heard of putting fake eggs, golf ball, rock etc in the nest. I have also heard limit thier space some to encourage use of nest boxes. I really am not sure. I have been lucky and just find an ooops did I drop that on the floor once in a while.

Yes, the fake eggs work well! I also use straw or hay as nest box material--I have found they lay in the boxes better if it's something different than what I use on the floor (the floor has shavings)....

I think Im gonna have to try that! I have golf balls in the boxes, but shavings on the floor and the nest boxes. Can't hurt to try!

Did they keep her on IV fluids? I hope it's not too bad and that whichever disease process she has going on, that it is manageable for you...
