Is it caffeine you can't have or coffee/tea? We have "Monster" or "Rockstar", both with caffeine, tons of vitamins, and sugar free. If it's the caffeine you need to restrict, sorry, I can't help from personal experience, but have heard dark chocolate works (small amount).

You can try switching up ibprophen after 2hrs of taking tylenal, just as long as the tylenal is 4hrs & ibprophen is 4hrs, they can be overlapped every 2hrs. I had to do this with my surgeries (c-section yrs ago & wisdom teeth out last yr).

I Think she might have been avoiding ibuprofen - unless I'm mixing that up with someone else. I too used to take a lot of it, until it wrecked havoc on my stomach. No more NSAIDS or aspirin for me.

Thanks Shannon,
but I have some tummy problems so I have been nixed off of the Nsaids - Ibuprofen and aspirin. Nothing acidic (why no coffee or tea). No alcohol. I will know more on Tuesday. But at this time it is not a GI bleed (which is what I was afraid of and made me go to doctor early - just saw the walk in doc).

Thank you though

I told the doc how much ibuprofen I have taken (over time) and she told me that could be a major cause of my problems AND it could cause me kidney problems in the future. I have taken way too much ibuprofen in my life. No more for me. Stinks. I am hoping it is just something that I can take an antibiotic for and then I can go back to having my coffee.

miss my coffee.

Ibuprofen became more widely used when I was a preteen. They didn't have a clue as to the ramifications it would have on livers and kidneys. I had joint problems so my mom fed me lots of the stuff. And later in life, I overused it myself and now can no longer take nsaids at all. They really bother my stomach.
From what I hear, if you can make it 10-11 days off caffine, you are past the worst.
Oh and that guy decided against our place so we lost out on counter bidding on the one we wanted. Oh well, must have been meant to be!

One thing about paper feed sacks and coop bedding: I've got lots of sheet compost makings for places I'm battling creeping buttercup (spits and makes sign to avert the evil eye)- put down dolomite, sacks/cardboard/et'c, then cover with six inches of whatever I'm composting. I'm thinking of double-covering the worst of the Ranunculus repens zones and possibly using ag lime for one of the pH correctors, and then just putting containers around for color while things work.

OH: my son was turning on the water so I could wash feed pans the day before Thanksgiving, and said he saw something run under the lawnmower- not a rodent, and as soon as he put his fingers and thumbs together to describe the shape I knew I was right, that I had been hearing a Pacific Toad, hooray, yay, and so on. GREAT slug controller, even better than the garter snakes because they hibernate when it's below 40F. I'd forgotten to include that in things I was grateful for.

I am sooooo jealous!

Do you drink it black? Milk would buffer it some.

I started my brussels in June and got them planted out by July. If they are not doing anything they probably didn't get planted soon enough since once our days get to 10 hours most things will cease to grow due to low light. Depending on the variety they may overwinter and you'll get some once they resume growth in Feb. but not sure if there are overwintering varieties. If they make it through the winter they will probably just go to seed in spring. Really need to get transplants in before August. They should have sprouts on them in September/October and hold most the fall. The cold will sweeten them up. I know there are a few broccoli varieties that need to overwinter before flowering, mostly the Purple Sprouting.

These are New Jersey something or others...cannot recall & do not want to go digging the seed box out.
They are just now swelling sprouts.
They were seeded in before August, and grew tall fast, then did nothing as if they were waiting...........since we have had a good frost or two...they seem to be swelling...never again this variety.
