Oh, what a fool I am. I have a single electric burner just sitting in my garage, unused. Perhaps we should have some sort of group "gadgets for shows" that way we would always have what we need.

Great Idea BUT who will store said group gadgets and what if that person isn't able to make it to a show see where I am headed.

So, you really aren't trying to downsize then

That Crossroads bird is very nice. I hadn't really thought of showing 'scovies. hmm! Nah, hubby wants them to grow big to sell. We have some very pretty birds, I like the chocolates, but they tend to fade, and the salmon coloured ones are just stunning. They all taste the same though. MGSU only came to the show for me (such a sweetie).

Got to find homes for some birds now we are getting a new little flock. So it's either Craig's list, or "Off with their heads"!

Well... in terms of what I had it was a BIG downsize, but, I looked at the last of my flock with new eyes and am seeing what else I need to get rid of and what I really want to keep. If you want, could you send me pics of some of the birds you want to get rid of?? Just pm me, I saw a few on the website, but I may be interested in ONE!! lol!!! just sayn!!

That was good of him to come, and it was nice meeting you both, if my husband ever gets a day off on a show weekend, I'm sure he would like to come and meet everyone. He is much more social than I. He doesn't know or keep up with my ducks, chickens and goats, as far as breed type and good and bad traits, but.... he HELPS tremendously when it comes to building coops and feeding when I can't ect. I know he would like me to keep up with feed costs by building a nice business, and I think I will get there eventually... I had some nice complements on the birds, so I think showing them will help me get the name out anyway.

just collect the bottles from the dump lol would take me years to make if i was the one drinking the stuff... I'll just ask everyone I know for clear 2 liter and see if I can get enough to make a small starter house.

I noticed a few strangers helping themselves, but there was so much food, I didn't think it a problem.

I don't know you, so you might think of me as a stranger, but I'm legit. I brought the HUGE box of silverware. When people asked em about the food, I told them to go ask Robin or Rob. Hope most were polite enough to ask.
