What do you need to do to hook it up?
Is there an electrical line there already?

I have no idea. There's an outlet on the wall, so there must have been electricity there at one time. That's all I know.

OMG I don't even know what to say to that. Lots of tears, but no words....

My FIL is the founder and retired president of the Veteran's Memorial Museum here in Chehalis. The last 18+ yrs of his life have been spent preserving the stories of the men, women and animals that have given their lives for the freedom of others... sadly, even for those who do not appreciate it.
It is very sad to see something like that happen to those who have given their lives. What's more sad is knowing that many people could care less.
One goal I have is to make sure my kids have a tremendous respect for our soldiers: past , present and future! Thanks Vets!!!!
Freedom is not free, many have willingly paid all!

I wanted to add that if you ever get a chance to stop in and see it, you will be overwhelmed with the job he has done putting all of it together! It's amazing!

This a sad report, but it only tells part of the story. Most people have no idea what happens with cremation. Cremation does not burn the larger bones. There is always a lot more remaining body and ash, than anyone gets back in a urn. The crematorium only returns a small portion to the family. This happens to all bodies that are cremated. I learned about this about the time my daughter died. So it is normal for everyone who have been cremated, to have the a crematorium to dispose of all the rest of the remains disposed of into a landfill. I would think that most families would rather not know this information.

Broody, my DH and I made a point of stopping off there the last time we were in Chehalis. Please tell your FIL thanks for his labor of love. It's a nice museum, one more people should know about!

Thats awesome!!! I will make a point to go see it!!
